We sat at the sushi bar & it was fascinating to watch the concentration & attention to detail they put into every step of preparing & serving such delicious & beautiful dishes. We ordered the sushi platter for two, along with cocktails & dessert, & everything was fresh & exquisite. Despite the orchestration, everyone was friendly, smiling & chatting with us a little. Chef Antonio, Chef Shinji, & the rest of the staff treated us so well that we almost stayed for dinner service-Literally!
A fantastic experience, delicious food, attentive professional informative service & even got to say hello to the'guy' who the restaurant is named after. We were there for lunch, on a Friday & sat outside. The price is not for the faint of heart...worth every penny. The establishment has received it's first nod towards a Michelin Star...that should tell something.
I went for lunch on a Monday.
Very good food & very good service too.
Yes, it's on the pricier side, but that's what good food in a beautiful place in a nice neighborhood costs.
I had the bibimbap & it was ok - I would like / think there should be more egg in it, but it was ok. All the sushi that was being prepared had a great aspect, & if I came back I would try it. Service was slow at the time / disconnected for the prices the restaurant is doing (no refill on water all service…). For reference, someone next to me was ording the 7 moments menu & it was taking soooo much time, I would ask the server how much time it takes before ordering it. Not a big fan of the'cafe del mar vol. 6' style music for a quick lunch on a rainy day, but it was now loud so I had no problem with it.
Cozy & lively space. The service is impeccable. I found the food was average & a bit over priced. Two cocktails, 1 appetizer & 2 lunch combos costed $180
So "Somebody feed Phil" introduced us to this restaurant & Chef Antonio Park. You read about the guy, & you just admire the man. My wife booked the lunch for us & the restaurant is in a very nice neighbourhood of Westmount in Montreal. We were greeted by a lovely host (I think her name was Faye) originally from Dorset, Uk; who welcomed us like old friends. (She also greeted a lot of regulars that came in after us - so she is definitely skilled at her role!) She recommended us to actually go for the Park specials, but double up on the nigiris, so we get the variety. Good call! Some people don't get the fuss about sushi. The skill is not just fresh fish, the knife skills, or the right marinated rice, the temperature, the presentation, but the whole ensemble. Chef Park also introduced the idea of his Argentinian flavours in the dips & the fusion tastes of the west & the Japanese in some sauces that were brushed on the nigiri. The presentation is immaculate & it is an experience to have some top rated sushi. We were very lucky to find him at the restaurant on our visit. He was happy to have a chat. If you are a sushi lover in Montreal, you definitely should try it out.

Went for lunch, their menu is well priced for the quality. I wouldn't recommend the lunch box even though it was good, because it doesn't reflect the level of the other dishes. Yes you get a bit of everything ( gyozas, sushi, rice & salad ) but it is average in terms of taste compared to the rest. Sushis are really fresh & original, take thay over the lunchbox in my opinion. Will definitely comeback for lunch or dinner !
Amazing food, incredible service, excellent atmosphere. We went here for lunch & had a great experience. I would highly recommend a visit. The sushi was such high quality & the unique spin on the dishes left me wanting more. Creative, filling, & enjoyable dining experience!
Had an amazing experience here, the food was absolutely astounding, our waitress was excellent. There are so many good options. Everything I ate was fantastic. You can see from my pictures everything looked excellent & I can assure you that it tasted excellent. If you're in the mood for sushi try & get a lunch reservation here, you will not regret it.
