Busy Chinese noodle shop with a cozy interior dishing up housemade hand stretched noodles in a variety of broths, Lan Zhou style. Directly across from McGill university. Delivery by Uber.
Nouilles Zhonghua is widely described as a small, bustling spot where fresh hand-pulled noodles and flavorful broths shine, with generous portions at a fair price, and the experience often feels like a lively workshop with noodles made in front of customers. The space is compact and frequently crowded, leading to short wait times and communal or shared tables during peak hours, while service is generally fast and friendly though occasionally uneven. The menu highlights allow choosing broth, noodle width, and portion size, and standout items like the Lanzhou beef noodle soup and the Chinese hamburger receive frequent praise for authenticity and depth of flavor. Overall the place is seen as a must-visit for a quick, affordable, satisfying meal, especially on cold days, though a few notes mention a salty broth, limited seating, and a busy, noisy environment.
Place is small, not a lot of seats available however the food is amazing. Feels busy inside, can't really linger or enjoy the ambiance. Take out or delivery might be better options then dining in. Good for a quick bite. Generous portion, fair price. With that in mind, I would recommend & definitely coming back.
delicious hand-pulled noodle restaurant! It seems like it's always very busy so expect to wait & share a table. I got a small beef soup, which was the perfect portion for a late lunch, but I'd probably recommend the medium! As a visitor to Montreal, this was a perfect first meal on a chilly day.

if i could give them 6 stars, i would! most amazing service, i was seated instantly & served my meal within five minutes! prices are also very good for the quality of the food.
Charming little noodle place.
Really compact inside.
Great little spot if you like Langzou style noodles! I recommend it!
This place seems pretty popular & crowded at meal times. There was even a long lineup for this place.
So I recommend going a little early before lunch or supper time because otherwise, youre gonna wait in a lineup.
The food was delicious they give you big bowls of noodles its delicious the noodles are made by hand in front of you the services was great i felt like in china recommande this place if you like chinnese food
Great noodles, the service is honestly pretty poor which I don't really care about but I had to get up several times during my meal for them to clean the tables & we seated in storage room at the same table as 2 other people. Great place though & I highly recommend for students or anyone downtown to come get a bite.

Excellent fresh Chinese noodles, made on the spot. The food is of excellent quality, & I really liked the beef. However, for lunch, a place crowded with people, plan to eat at a table with other people. But I'd definitely recommend the restaurant for eat-in or take-away. A great discovery.
Food is always extremely great! Went for an in-person pickup for the first time after ordering delivery for a long time - food was ready under 10 minutes! Highly recommend the lanzhou bowl (with at least medium spice!) Friendly staff. I will definitely need to dine-in at some point!! Best noodles in town 💗💗💗
The food is amazing, it's really heavy so on a cold day it's perfect. The prices are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend the Homemade Pork Sauce noodles, & the Chinese hamburger ♡

The noodles were really good, although the dish was very spicy & there was zero mention of it on the menu (that I could see). The atmosphere is cozy if you like the authentic feel of sitting on a little stool at a small table in a small shop (I mean this sincerely! It's got charm). However, if you like me have sensory issues, the frequent, extremely loud slamming of them making the noodles got my anxiety spiking & kept me jumping every time. If you have issues with loud noises I'd recommend take out.
Fantastic noodle soup, medium is pretty spicy! Good service, good prices, extremely busy during our visit. Parking complicated, I recommend public transit. Near McGill, downtown, Eaton center.
Love everything here: Cold noodle salad, delicious Spicy cucumber salad, tangy & refreshing Chinese hamburger, pulled-pork in crunchy sweet bun Soups, all delightful, vegetarian option Only downside is no hot tea & only take debit - lovely staff, crowded & shared tables with strangers. Highly, highly recommended
I get noodles from here weekly. Most amazing spot ever, they are efficient & the food is amazing. The soups are great but I highly recommend the Oil spill noodles wth da kuan noodles. It's the best thing u will ever have( if ur sensitive to spice spice ask for mild !). Also a side of cucumber will balance it nicely !
