Food was good but not wow. Strawberries felt overpowering the foie gras. Almost impossible to apply the foie gras on the provided bread because the bread was too soft / foie gras was too solid.
Tartare was special with the mix of popcorn , for me it worked fine but nothing wow. The freshness of the tuna helped making the dish better.
Took the braised beef as finale. There was again some strawberries... would have traded those strawberries for some more veggies.
Service was good on the plating / cleaning but we definitely felt a bit snobbed or cold on the greeting & good bye side. Waiter definitely didn't like that we didn't order a lot of foods. I have worked in the restauration for many years so I know what's an excellent service.Voir plus

Seafood was fresh & tasty. However, for the price (paid over 300$ for food & drinks), I would of expected better service & attention to detail. There was a few faux pas, my Martini was served with an even number of olives, we had hair in one of our dishes, bathrooms wernt very clean & half way through the meal our waiter seemed very unintrested in giving us service or being pleasent. More specifically, he walked away from us twice while we were mid sentence trying to order. Also, after paying our bill he walked away without saying anything, I had to scream at him'have a good night' while he was already half way through the restaurant, no thank you, no nothing. La nourriture est de très bonne qualité & les saveurs sont tres originales mais les portions sont tout simplement ridicules.
Sortir d'un restaurant en ayant faim c'est ce que j'ai vécu ici avec une addition dépassant les 150$.
Le service était condescendant (la serveuse que nous avions avait l'air de nous prendre pour des abrutis tout en nous faisant les révérences.
Niveau ambiance… 4 ou 5 anniversaires avec musique & cotillons … pas très classe, ni agréable pour un menu gastronomique. Bref à l'image du service.
Donc je dirais bravo aux personnes en cuisine qui font un sacré travail dans l'assiette qui est en suite gâchée par le service, l'ambiance & le prix ;)Voir plus

Service & atmosphere were perfect; we really loved the people who were kind, attentive, & professional. We were very disappointed by the food. I think the kitchen executed the dishes according to what they intended, but it was our least enjoyable meal this trip. Three of the dishes (tartare, foie gras, scallop) felt like they just sprinkled tiny amounts of a feature ingredient into a pile of acidic garnish. The scallop dish likely did not contain even a single entire scallop. The hen dish with morels MAY have contained a single morel. These dishes left us feeling like we were searching for ingredients in a pile of garnish. They may notice that plates tend to return with a whole bunch of garnish on them, & that would not be surprising. The ingredient pairings at times made no sense. Popcorn does NOT pair well with raw tuna. Sounds fun. Doesn't work. Strawberries & Foie Gras sounds fun. Doesn't work.
I'm happy when people take risks & do things differently, but the prices were wildly out of sync with what was delivered. This was one of six'fine dining' experiences we had this trip & was by far our least favorite.

A bit overhyped in my opinion.
We got the tasting menu & added the Bourgot Miso.
Food had interesting flavor combinations & very experimental but not memorable & not something we would return for, except for the Bourgot Miso (but seriously only 2 pieces of bread???)
We had good service initially but there was a lull of about 30-40 minutes between services. Being first time clients here, our waitress didn't come back to the table even once to see how we were liking the food.
It was very loud & hard to talk, but very decorated, very homey & quirky. Couldn't hear my partner talk because of the music.
For the amount you pay here, there are better options out there.Voir plus

Une des meilleures tables à Montréal sans aucun doute! Ca faisait un moment que je n'y étais pas allée & dernière minute on a décidé de tenter notre chance & quelle soirée! Le service est impeccable & les plats sont incroyablement beaux & délicieux ❤? Je vous recommande de réserver, même si ce soir j'ai tenté ma chance, il etait assez tôt & on a pu avoir une table, mais quand on est parti c'était plein! Je reviendrai!Voir plus

I recently visited Montreal Plaza, a well-known spot in the city that often gets a lot of buzz. While the ambiance was quirky & the service attentive, the overall dining experience didn't quite live up to the expectations. The menu was creative, but some dishes felt more style than substance. Flavors were decent & memorable, but portion sizes were on the smaller side for the price.
It's a nice place if you're curious to try something trendy or enjoy the vibe, but personally, I found it a bit overrated. There are definitely other spots in Montreal that offer a more satisfying experience at a better value.Voir plus

Very uneven. Uncomfortably long gaps between services. We took the sharing menu & were generally disappointed. It demonstrated some very good execution, like the crab in an egg shell, but otherwise, we were underwhelmed. Service was simply too long. It took well over an hour to start eating. The atmosphere was fun, damped by the lack of sustained rhythm of serving of food.Voir plus

J'ai passé une merveilleuse soirée au Montreal Plaza ! J'ai été servi par Louis ( 10 ans dans la maison ) qui as su nous accueillir & nous mettre à l'aise tout au long de l'expérience. L'ambiance est super chaleureuse & le staff aussi.
Pour ce qui est de la nourriture j'ai juste un mot : WOW ! De l'entrée au dessert tout était INCROYABLE. J'ai pris tout ce qu'il yavait en poisson ce soir j'y retournerai certainement pour la viande. Le flétan était cuit à la perfection & le mariage des saveurs juste magnifique. Le tartare a la courge était si délicieux. Tous les ingrédients sont de qualité jusqu'au moindre détail ( l'huile d'olive 🤤 les huitres 🤤 le pain ) bref absolument tout. Ca vaut bien chaque dollars que j'ai dépensé est ce que j'y retournerai 100%. Allez y les yeux fermés !!!Voir plus
