Our group of 14 recently dined at Mont Bistro, & while the staff were friendly & tried their best to accommodate us, the overall experience was underwhelming.
Service was polite but quite slow - courses came out inconsistently, & the long gaps between dishes made the meal feel dragged out.
As for the food, opinions around the table were mixed. The portions were on the small side, though most dishes were presented nicely. Unfortunately, the quality didn't match the presentation. The fish was mushy, the chicken was overly salty, & the risotto had an overpowering cheese flavor that dominated everything else. My New York steak was the biggest disappointment - thin, way overcooked, & full of gristle.
Mont Bistro has a pleasant atmosphere & friendly service, but the kitchen execution needs serious improvement before we'd consider returning.

Nous avons passé un excellent moment aujourd'hui. La nourriture était exceptionnelle! Le pot de chocolat était divin. Le velouté au brocoli était vraiment spécial & délicieux. Pour le plat principal, le boeuf était succulent - bien que le menu indiquait « bavette », c'était en fait du flanc, mais il était absolument délicieux & parfaitement préparé.
This was our first experience & it was soooo good. The food was amazing & the service was top shelf! The lamb is fantastic & the fish of the day (cod) was perfectly cooked. Our server Alex was very friendly & helpful with the menu. Try it !!
Excellent, rien à redire, du service à l'assiette ! Une explosion de saveurs. Un endroit à recommander sans hésiter. Le personnel est attentionné, les plats sont raffinés & généreux, & l'ambiance est à la fois conviviale & élégante. Une très belle découverte, j'y reviendrai avec plaisir !
La nourriture était exceptionnelle, les serveurs sont attentionnés, surtout Mari-Ève notre serveuse qui était exceptionnelle avec un timing parfait. Un restaurant à revisiter!
Delicious food, friendly service. Got to sit at the counter in full view of the hard working kitchen staff. Like my own food network channel. The shrimp risotto is to die for & the pear sangria was great too. Would come again for sure.
Manger au bar & voir le chef propriétaire travailler à été une très belle expérience. Pour ce qui est de la nourriture, moi & ma fiancée avons trouvé ça extrêmement bon; de nos entrées (tostada & potage) aux repas (jarret d'agneau & tartare de boeuf). Superbe expérience.
