I had Shanghai Noodles & They were delicious!
The Lady serving Us:
Her attention to detail was excellent-she kept our table immaculate & well-organized at all times.
She was kind & gave perfect service!
Thank You!
My friend & I went for dinner & we ordered the general tao chicken, small portion of rice, & the beef in black bean sauce & rice noodles. The food was really good & the portions were big, worth the price. The general Tao sauce was delicious. Beef well cooked. We stuffed ourselves, the food could have easily made nice sized meals for 3 people.
You must order Shanghai noodles. They are so delicious that I actually have food cravings for them. The portion is enough for two people so you can either share or take home for a lunch next day. Very friendly staff, & did I mention the Shanghai noodles?
Came here specifically for the Peking duck. Paid extra to have it with the fried noodles & it was worth it. We were a group of four women & one child - in addition to our three course peking, we also ordered fried lobster, water spinach greens & saltfish fried rice. We left no crumbs. Will come again next time I'm in town.
It's okay. It took 30 minutes for my main to arrive. Portions are huge. Plenty of protein & vegetables. The fries stiff noodles & sauce & shumai were tasty. The brisket was slightly funny tasting, & gave my jaws a workout. Toughest beef brisket I've ever eaten.
Just for the crispy noodles, food tasted okay. Very generous serving, good for 2 people. I havent tried the other menu yet.
The food is great & the prices are reasonable. Our favorites are the general Tao chicken & Singapore noodles. They are simply great, in my humble opinion the best in the island.
If you want to try authentic Chinese food, visit Mon Nan in MTL Chinatown. It's a hidden gem. We ordered 6 different dishes: shrimp salad noodles 🍜, shrimp momo, Tao ming noodles, & others. Portion sizes are worth the price, & food is delicious. I will definitely recommend it to others.🙂
