We ordered the spicy honey beef, egg rolls, & vegetable fried rice & they were all excellent. We are so grateful for her help finding this restaurant. You should try Mon Nan, too! I took the photo after we started eating, so the presentation is not as pretty as when they brought it to the table.
Disappointed- this place was recommended by a staff member at our hotel. The Tao Chicken was so good 10/10, the chicken fried rice 9/10, the dumplings 5/10, beef broccoli 4/10. Now the service is what killed it for us. Everything was ok in the beginning, there were plenty of seats & the food came out quickly, but this is where it started going down hill. Seems they were giving us food from a different table. We kept the fried rice but in place canceled the chicken in bean sauce. Then we waited & had to request another soda like 5 times. Then when the bill came the lady automatically added the tip on the credit card reader (make sure to compare the price on the paper ticket with what's on the reader). Anyway, we were actually going to pay cash. Total was $115 after taxes & my husband gave $140 to get change back to tip & they never brought change. He had to go ask for the change. Seemed deceiving & our desire to go back- it's gone. We won't be back.
What an experience! Really authentic, everything delicious. We ordered fried rice, orange chicken & some shrimps & veggies. The portions are good & the service really excellent.
Honestly they're so many things to say, I saw the reviews thinking it would be amazing since we were visiting & wanted something good. Unfortunately, it was completely something else…..
Spent 120$ & still have regrets. It felt like they just wanted to give something so it's complete. The meat was duck & chicken cold - the beef general tao was worse, it didn't have any beef & you could feel it while eating it- the fried rice & dumpling were bland. Honestly, you better go to a buffet for better food.
I had to wait for them to service me because they taught I was'the uber eats guy'. & they don't care about you nor treat you well- you're just another sale. Don't let the images fool you.
Love this place. Been here twice ..first time got the sesame beef with chicken fried rice; delicious. Second time went with my bf & we had peanut butter pork dumplings & the spicy honey beef which were good, & we got the short beef ribs which we didn't like bc of the lack of meat it had too much fat.
Great chinese restaurant in the heart of Montreal's chinatown. There are lots of tables & it's air conditioned. We had crispy beef, eggplant & a fried rice. They were all delicious but also very oily!
Honestly it's my favorite Chinese resto in Montreal. Haven't had a bad dish. Particular favorites are the scallop fried rice, salt & pepper pork chops, Cantonese chow mein, & the razor clams when in season
Wow what a gem this place is. First off, the server Betty was so welcoming & funny. Then the canto food was amazing. Not enough people know about this place. Food was soooo fast, but so fresh too. We ate family style which is the best to eat at a restaurant. We ordered hot & sour soup, Mongolian beef, sweet & sour pork, shrimp fried rice, soup dumplings & black bean beef. Very reasonably priced! Shared between 6 people & worked out to be 22.50$ a person including tip! All were delicious. The fried rice had a beautiful smokiness from the wok. But the star of the show was the Mongolian beef. Perfectly crispy with the perfect about of sauce. Highly recommend & we will definitely be back when we visit Montreal again.
Came here specifically for the Peking duck. Paid extra to have it with the fried noodles & it was worth it. We were a group of four women & one child - in addition to our three course peking, we also ordered fried lobster, water spinach greens & saltfish fried rice. We left no crumbs. Will come again next time I'm in town.
