Le bar et la carte des vins accompagnent bien les repas et le service est constamment attentif, amical et professionnel, bien que plusieurs visites signalent des heures d'affluence, des surbookings occasionnels et une musique parfois trop forte. Dans l'ensemble, les convives louent des ingrédients frais, des portions généreuses à partager et une exécution culinaire de chef, ce qui fait de Mati une adresse incontournable pour les amateurs de cuisine grecque, même si le prix ou le rythme peuvent varier selon les visites.
Nice place with a modern vibe. The food was good, but quite expensive for the size of the portions. We were 3, 2 ladies who don't eat big meals & one gentleman that was very hungry. We started with the greek salad. It was nice, with a good size chunck of feta cheese & enough to share for 3 people. The calamari was tender & crispy, we loved the yogourt sauce that came with it, but the portion was more of an appetizer size for one than a meal. The same goes with the greek sausage, just one, cut into 9 pieces. The pork chop (only 1 in the'to share' ) menu was average size, good but I could have eaten the whole thing myself. Basically, they chopped it in 6 that's why it's'shareable' The green beans were delicious, but again small.We left hungry with a $150 bill (including only 1 beer).

We loved everything about our dinner at Máti. We are still talking about the grilled octopus, the lamb chops & the crudo a day later. Great atmosphere & drinks as well, & the staff was very friendly. We'll be back for sure!
The service was incredible from start to finish. Adrian went above & beyond to help me customize a birthday menu for my group, making the whole experience feel special & seamless. The drinks were delicious, & the food was outstanding. Thank you to Adrian & Sofia for making my birthday such a memorable night!
The salad, dips & desserts were tasty. Although it's no fault of the restaurant, our shareable main (Pastitsio) wasn't to our liking (it was almost like a Greek recipe meets Shepherd's pie fusion of sorts). Our server was efficient but rather terse in demeanor. We'll try something else on the menu next time.
Outstanding food & service! This is easily some of the best Greek food in Montreal. Our waiter was incredibly kind & helpful. The taramasalata, deep-fried calamari, stuffed peppers, sea bass, & Greek sausages were all delicious, paired with great drinks. Slightly loud music, but we'll definitely be back.
Unbelievable establishment. The service even better. Shout out to'Adrianoupoulos' for the entertainment throughout the whole night. Recommend 10/10. Food & drinks were just exceptional !
A phenomenal experience on all levels. Shout out to Felix & Adrian for taking such great care of me! Sat at the bar & it is beautiful & cozy! Run, don't walk to Mati!

An Friday evening meal in March while on a 4 night break. The sharing experience was great & the food well prepared & tasty. The Waitress had excellent English & was very friendly & efficient. The atmosphere was lively but not over loud with a couple of birthday celebrations.
What a fantastic place!!! Our 1st time & by far the best Greek food I ever had. The staff is helpful, super friendly, & very professional. We were a family of 5, we choose the seabass, pork chops, vine leaves, calamari, roasted potatoes, grilled octopus, green beans. Everything was excellent, well seasoned, & cooked to perfection, so so delicious. We also had the ice cream & the custard. It was amazing! I highly recommend it.
I wanted to leave a review because my friends & I came here last night to celebrate my birthday, & the staff truly made it such a special experience. They couldn't have been kinder, offering to help set up the table with balloons & making sure everything was perfect for us.
Our server, Charlotte, was amazing, so friendly & attentive. She even helped us take pictures, which we really appreciated. All of my friends kept saying how we hadn't had service this good in a long time.
The food was also delicious with no complaints at all. Overall, such a great experience, I would definitely come back!

Ambiance calme car nous y sommes aller en après-midi vers 14h00 alors peu de monde , il ont mit de la musique vers 16h30 pour le service du souper. Merciii pour le service vraiment agréable & professionnel.
Excellente expérience, la nourriture était vraiment délicieuse & parfaitement assaisonnée, on a tout partagé. Le service était rapide & avec la bonne cadence. Mention spéciale au plat signature du collier d'agneau & le'flan' en dessert. L'ambiance du restaurant est aussi très agréable, tamisée, pas trop bruyant & convivial.
Best food on the planet, it's as if you're eating on a summer evening in Greece. I recommend the grilled octopus & Greek salad as well as the pork chops!! Truly, it melts in your mouth & each bite is flavourful. This is one of the best Greek restaurants in Montreal, I don't think any other place can compare. The service was awesome, staff were very kind & always engaging with us making sure our service was good. This place deserves a 5 star rating, even higher if possible
