We went on a wednesday evening prior to a major snow storm. We were 12 celebrating a retirement. We had varying service, sometimes above expectations & sometimes below. The bistro was mostly empty so the staff might not have been as attentive. Excellent selection of craft beers. Food was good but not amazing. We did really like the nachos.
I would recommend for drinks & appetizers but not so much for dinner.

Simply the best !! The staff is incredible, the ambiance was amazing, the drinks are delicious!!! Big thank you to Robin, the manager who helped organize our event, we could be any happier of the outcome!!

Gluten free beer... in Canada? Very pleasant too, a few options. Nice staff. The place is modern & good for a quiet drink away from the bustle of old Montreal.

Above average atmosphere but the food are a let down. I think the place is more into drinks. I ordered the flank steak which was covered with some weird taste, salty sauce; the side was creamy coleslaw. Unfortunately, both are not to my liking.

Wow!!!! Quelle belle découverte!!!! L'endroit est magnifique & avec un passé fascinant (n'hésitez pas à la demander aux employés) service personnalisé incroyable!!! On avait l'impression de faire partie de la famille!!!! La nourriture vraiment délicieuse!!!! Que dire des drinks & & de la bière... Tous plus bons les uns que les autres... Sol est fantastique pour la beauté & la qualité des cocktails!! Merci pour cette superbe soirée!!! Nous allons revenir c'est certain!!!

Amazing food! The staff was fantastic, the food was spectacular & the drinks were delicious. The Nun burger was honestly one of THE best burgers I've ever had & the potato salad as a side was the perfect compliment. Will definitely go back!!

The food & drinks were great, but the service was terrible.
The restaurant was NOT busy & we could almost never find our waitress. she very rarely checked if any one wanted more to drink, we never got water refilled, had to ask her to come to the table so we could place food orders....she cleared our table of 8's plates one at a time over almost an hour until we got fed up with all the food sitting in front of us & put it on an empty table behind us.

The Jameson & ginger cocktail
The Jack Daniels lemonade cocktail
The Sangria (a bit sweet, but good)
The surf-based tasting menu with gravlax, smoked trout, octopus, etc
The turf-based tasting menu with boar, gazpacho, smoked potato salad, etc
Honestly, if not for the awful service, I'd definitely go back. So much care & attention put into the drink & food preparation & an experienced ruined by slow, inattentive service.
