When brought up to the waitress she looked at us stunned & almost in disbelief until she saw it for herself. Did not do anything to justify the situation mid meal. I love this place however was a pretty bad experience.
Excellent & very accommodating service! My wife & I showed up without a reservation & the restaurant was packed, but the maître d' was kind enough to pull some strings & find us a nice table by the window. Everyone was extremely friendly & our waiter worked hard to find us the best bottle of wine. The food was good, but nothing to rave about, but the atmosphere was lovely. Overall it was a great experience & I would definitely try it again.
Très belle expérience pour notre anniversaire de mariage. Excellent repas (tuna cruso en entrée & hanger steak en principal).
What an incredible night! Truly one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Jonathan was a fantastic host, & Delphine provided exceptional service throughout the evening. The sommelier, Anais, made spot-on recommendations that elevated our experience. We had an unforgettable time & highly recommend that you experience it for yourself!
Great food & service at super reasonable price in a fantastic atmosphere
This place is nice, & their patio is pretty cute for a date. The service was also good - i think it was the strength of that restaurant actually. However, the food was OK. We tried several dishes - some good, some not so much. If you decide to eat there, I highly recommend taking the pani puri & the veal short ribs, both were delicious. The veal short ribs was rich in flavor, & the pani puri very refreshing (in addition, loved the texture & the presentation). I was pretty excited about the Octopus tempura, but it was a big disappointment. The tempura was so-so, the octopus was overcooked (a bit too chewy), & it lacked flavor. I don't recommend it (they should actually try a different octopus dish altogether). The arctic char was OK. It was perfectly cooked, & the presentation was nice (my pictures don't make it justice). However, it was blend compared to other dishes we tried. I think if they work a bit on their seasoning, it could definitely turn into a great dish.
I can't say enough about our first time visiting this spectacular dining experience. It was recommended by a friend as a place to dine while visiting Montreal. I am so glad she did! The flavours were bursting & the service was spot on. The rotelle is to die for! That bone marrow gives it such richness & the ragoux was so tender. The New York CAB melted in your mouth. Make this a place to dine if you live or visiting Montreal!!!
Dinner number five in old Montreal. Two of the last 4 were terrible. We had a great dinner here. Many dishes are advertised as Asian inspired but the influence varies from dish to dish. The fried sea bream was very good. Fried brussel sprouts were good though not the best I've ever had. Burrata was fine. Staff were attentive & friendly. Loud music indoors.
The food was incredible & the service was even better. Super knowledgeable staff. The rotelle & steak were to die for!
Beautiful & stylish restaurant, a great spot for a date night or time with friends & family. The service was friendly & attentive & the food was phenomenal. Our starters, the oysters & tuna crudo were delicious & fresh. For our mains, the veal short ribs were tender & juicy, the Asian inspired sauce was also very good. & the Milanese-style bone-in veal chop was crispy & a large portion. The s'more for dessert was also excellent (not your typical s'more). Overall, we very much enjoyed our meal at Jellyfish during our visit to Montreal.
Elegant upscale setting with high ceilings. Lively, hip ambiance. Creative French/Quebecois bistro style food, everything was delicious & plates are quite generous, even entrees. Very pleasant experience, although on the pricey side.
S'il faut faire le classement des meilleures restau... 🍴 du pays je mettrai Jellyfish en premier excellence bravo 👏
Went with my wife for celebrating our anniversary. Food was very good with beautiful fresh seafood. The tapas for appetizers were delightful & same for our main course. Excellent very friendly & knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended
I enjoyed my visit to Jellyfish for dinner. Service was great, atmosphere was perfect on a Saturday night & the food was truly delicious! We ordered the beef tatami, the oxtail pasta & the veal short rib!
