Went jellyfish for a birthday dinner & it was excellent. The reason it was Echlin is because of the the waitress we had called Emma she was wonderful, thoughtful & caring with that strongly. Recommend.
We were visiting from out of the province. Highly recommend. Our lovely server Vanora took great care of us. The restaurant has a nice ambience at night, however the food was the highlight. We had oysters, burrata, steak tartare & their famous beef broth pasta - absolutely recommend. High quality food, drinks & service. Must check this one out if you're in Montreal.
The food had very interesting texture. It was delicious. The atmosphere & service were lovely. A little too dark for my personal liking but the ambience was there. We went for my birthday & they treated me so special. Will highly recommend!

Nous souhaitons adresser une mention spéciale à notre barman Jean qui nous a fourni un excellent service & de merveilleuses recommandations de cocktails. Parce que nous sommes des amateurs de la liqueur Chartreuse, Jean nous a fait découvrir de nouvelles recettes personnelles qui étaient simplement délicieuses! Il a pris de son précieux temps pour discuter mixologie, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Mention spéciale à la serveuse qui travaillait avec Jean derrière le bar, Sara-Ève.
La prochaine fois ça sera pour un bon souper!

Had a selection of grilled meats & appetizers. Everything was great. Atmosphere was good - restaurant is very'open air' with cocktails aplenty & old world portraits as decorations. Would recommend based on the experience. Was a corporate event so not as conscious on value aspect.
Had a reservation at the sister restaurant PubJelly for our visit to Montreal, but due to a private event they contacted us in advance to move reservation to Jellyfish, which we agreed to. Sooooooooo happy that we did; great wine selection, beautiful cocktails, local tasty beers started the evening on a great note. The staff was knowledgeable & friendly - the recommendation of the avocado carpaccio introduced me to one of my favourite all time dishes. HIGHLY recommend. The other appetizers were amazing as well & the rest of the meal also did not disappoint. All in all, Jellyfish delivered an amazingly memorable evening with family & friends. I look forward to going back next time we are in Montreal.
Appetizer: tuna, scallop, black cod, & avocado were excellent, crafty presentation tasted really good. The scallop was fine, the concept is better than the actual taste but still satisfactory Main course: steak & halibut was amazing, generous cut, flavourful & pretty presentation. Lamb was ok, but I wouldn't recommend Dessert: panna cota with bourbon sauce & orange was excellent, well balanced sweet, cream, & freshness, also very pretty. Chocolate & caramel tarte was ok, a bit too heavy Overall atmosphere was very pretty & spacious, great for dates with friend & family Service was excellent, fast & responsive, the addition of coat check was also adding the experience so much bette

ÉDIT: Je suis obligée de rectifier mon avis suite à l'expérience de ce soir. L'endroit est toujours aussi somptueux & l'accueil & le service sont absolument irréprochables. Néanmoins, nous avons été consternées par chacune de nos assiettes. La présentation est agréable & travaillée mais les quantités sont devenues vraiment ridicules au vu du prix affiché sur la carte. Rien ne peut justifier qu'une assiette composée d'un demi avocat assaisonné & coupé en 5 soit facturée 25$ +tx. Idem pour le tuna crudo dont la part de thon représentait moitié moins qu'une tranche de saumon fumé déchiquetée & disséminée dans l'assiette pour la modique somme de 29$ +tx (pour ne citer que ces plats). Le rapport est proprement inacceptable, pour ne pas dire abusif ou insultant & cette expérience est terriblement dissuasive. Je ne reviendrai pas & ne pourrai décemment plus recommander cet endroit, avec regret. ORIGINAL: Excellente expérience à tout point de vue: l'offre sur la carte est appétissante & inhabituelle & tout était délicieux. Nous étions assise au comptoir du bar & notre serveur/barman était d'une délicatesse & d'un professionnalisme exceptionnels.
Was very underwhelming for the cost... the "lobster" pani puri tasted strongly like fake crab & plain mayonnaise, every dish we had lacked seasoning or salt, service was slow & all over the place, we had a reservation for 8:45 & weren't seated until 9pm after hovering around the coat check. Seafood tasted frozen not fresh. Won't be returning & don't recommend if you want good seafood.
Really great place. The food waa excellent. Highly recommend the tuna crudo & veal short ribs...french fries are great. Very friendly & attentive service. Great location in old Montreal. Looking forward to go back & try some other dishes.
I had a wonderful dining experience at Jellyfish last night! Our waitress was exceptional-she really paid attention to our needs. When my husband requested a nut-free meal, she made sure to order my dish without pistachios before it was cooked, ensuring everything was safe for me. Her thoughtful service truly made our evening special. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great food & attentive staff! Unfortunately I don't know her name .
What an incredible night! Truly one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Jonathan was a fantastic host, & Delphine provided exceptional service throughout the evening. The sommelier, Anais, made spot-on recommendations that elevated our experience. We had an unforgettable time & highly recommend that you experience it for yourself!
