Dans l'ensemble, Jatoba est unanimement salué pour sa cuisine d'une finesse remarquable, ses présentations soignées et son ambiance chic et chaleureuse, que ce soit au restaurant principal ou au bar. La carte propose des plats d'inspiration fusion asiatique mettant en valeur des ingrédients frais comme sashimi, morue et wagyu, accompagnés de cocktails créatifs et de vins bien choisis; de nombreux convives recommandent les sushis Bluefin, les dumplings et les plats de poisson à partager. Le service est globalement attentif et compétent, avec des serveurs et barmen qui savent conseiller et personnaliser l'expérience, même si certains retours mentionnent des moments d'attente ou des petits accrocs ponctuels. L'expérience est souvent décrite comme mémorable et digne d'une occasion spéciale, avec des gestes du chef et une attention chaleureuse, et beaucoup apprécient aussi le cadre et la véranda lumineuse. Bien que le coût soit élevé, nombreux estiment que la qualité et l'ambiance justifient le prix et annoncent leur retour pour tester d'autres plats; quelques expériences au lunch ou au service peuvent toutefois varier et gagner en fluidité.
Truly splendid service & atmosphere at Jatoba. The food is good but not great. The quality of the fresh fish really stands out & the oyster mushroom gratin & firecracker dumplings were both divine. The black cod was a bit mushy for my liking (it's not Nobu esque) & the har gao tastes standard.
I have gone pre-covid when this place was fairly new/hyped & recently. I recall the whole experience about the same both times. Let's quickly talk about Service & Atmosphere. Service for what we had was 5/5 on par & up to basic expectations. Greeted warmly & well informed of their menu. Atmosphere they have 2 areas, front & back with the back being more open in a glass room enclosure & a lot of plants, it had a nice vibe but the front does have this cozy warm Asian inspired feel to it. 4/5 Let's get to the food: This place is on the pricey side & I'll describe it as best as I can for what I have had, & seen. I will also describe how to go to this place & really enjoy it. Food is pricey, easily call it double of what you would expect from a standard Asian restaurant. High price, small dishes, almost tapas style if you want to call it that. Some items from their menu, Filet mignon, Lobster ginger & King Crab ($60+) offers at most 5-10 bites. Their other items which would be your go to for sides like Fries ($20), Calamari ($40) or dumplings (3) (~$18). There is only so much you can go high for price. Flavours had that hint of Asian cooking with a more quality preparation & plating. Tasty yes, unique no. Be full & happy? Not at the prices. Desserts are double the price of something typical but nothing unique that I haven't seen or tasted before. Drink wise, everything stands around $15+ for your alcohols. They made some fairly nice drinks & I would say they made an amaretto sour that is going in my books (super frothed egg whites). I make this drink blind folded & even started to make it with egg whites but this was another level of froth, almost whipped cream line. Half the glass was alcohol & the other half was whipped but it was well worth it. Listen if you go to this place as 2 & you order a app, main & dessert, you are easily over $100 & you won't be full. The best suggestion is going to this place as a group of 4-5 people & each spend about $75/all in (2 orders each). This will get you about 8-10 dishes that you'll be able to try tapas style with just 1 maybe 2 bites. This way you can try a lot of different stuff without hitting a price tag of $200+ (person) which you can easily do. Food is 3/5. It's not bad food, it's just pricey & with pricey food, your expectations are just up there. Go here with friends, real friends that know how to food share & you probably won't be disappointed.

Une belle expérience gravée dans ma mémoire à tout jamais. La nourriture est excellente, le service & l'ambiance aussi. Un plaisir en bouche avec des accompagnements divins. Merci pour ce beau moment.
Ce n'est pas la meilleure des expériences que j'ai eu dans un restaurant. Rapport qualité-prix est vraiment dispendieux pour la quantité. L'ambiance était plate & le service est induscutable
Food was good. Went there for a birthday. Only thing is We both ended up with food poisoning overnight. It may have been the olive oil in the seabass or cod, but overall I'd return. The sushi plates were amazing, & fresh. I just wouldn't order anything too oily.
One of my favourite gastronomic experiences. Got some cocktails & some food, everything was perfect. You REALLY have to taste their Amaterasu drink(the blue/green one), literally my favourite drink right now. The price was a little bit salty but honestly it was 100% worth it. Perfect to go as a couple to impress someone hahaha.
Excellent meal & wonderful service. Lots of choices. Maybe the best scallops I've ever had. Beautiful decor & interesting music at a moderate volume so we could enjoy it & hold a conversation.
The quality of the food here is top notch. The ingredients are the best of the best & it shows. The recipes are so well balanced, simply perfect! The service was really great & fast. The atmosphere back in the garden is really cool... you wouldn't know you're having dinner downtown. 5* & we'll be back for more!

Incroyable expérience au Jatoba. La nourriture était succulente, les cocktails délicieux, le service excellent & la place superbe. J'ai personnellement adoré les sushis, la salade jatoba, les egg rolls & le poulet aigre-doux. Tout est savoureux & parfaitement cuit (comme il se faut). Moi qui ne mange habituellement pas de champignons je les ai trouvés bons. ♿️ Côté accessibilité cependant je ne suis pas sûre que ce soit si facile en chaise roulante, les toilettes sont au sous-sol (je n'ai pas posé la question pour s'il y en avait au rdc).
Sehr angenehme Bedienung am Tisch. Der Empfang darf stilistisch noch verbessert werden. Die Qualität der Gerichte ist gut bis sehr gut, bleibt aber mittlerweile deutlich hinter dem Innovationsgeist der Gründerjahre des Restaurants zurück. Die akustisch überladene Atmosphäre hat Bar-Niveau erreicht und ist mittlerweile für Restaurantgäste schwer erträglich geworden.
Great experience. Loved the Asian fusion food & the welcoming vibe. The ha gao dumplings were amazing & the chocolate cake for dessert was exceptional. We will return!
