Une expérience absolument exceptionnelle chez Jatoba! Dès notre arrivée, le service était impeccable : professionnel, attentionné & surtout d'une rapidité incroyable. Tout était parfaitement orchestré du début à la fin.

Les sushis étaient tout simplement incroyables… frais, raffinés & tellement fondants en bouche! Chaque bouchée était une véritable explosion de saveurs.

C'était vraiment une expérience exceptionnelle, autant pour la qualité de la nourriture que pour le service & l'ambiance. Une adresse que je recommande sans hésiter & où je retournerai certainement! Merci à notre serveur: alexis!

Jatoba is a very unique restaurant. The food is amazing & full of flavors. Every dish is made to perfection. the shrimp & lemongrass soup is soul warming. The sushi is pristine.
Will definitely go back again.

Jatoba was excellent, from the service to the food everything was held to high standards.

We started off with the Sashimi Platter & the Crispy Salmon Rice Cakes which are some the chef's specialty dishes. These were extremely fresh & delicious.

The drinks were very well crafted, nothing beats a crisp cocktail from a mixologist who knows how to pair flavours.

For the sushi, we had the lobster roll which was my favourite (I would have preferred it to not have asparagus as it paired well but in my opinion I could do without), the torched salmon nigiri was solid & the Bluefin Tuna maki just melts in your mouth from how buttery & fresh the tuna is.

We finished off with the tuna tartare cones which had a delicious soy emulsion. As for the dessert we had the caramel marshmallow plate & it was so delicious!

This place overall was fantastic, the owner Manolo really knows how to take care of his clients. The sommelier was very helpful during our dinner, the staff always came to clean the table & check up on us & they really go above & beyond for their guests.

Got the wagyu & sushi plate for lunch & it was ok. Desserts was just ok as well. Had high expectations since the menu looked amazing..

One of the most beautiful & cozy restaurants in Montreal. Jatoba is truly a vibe…lush with live plants (all real) & dramatic, oversized vines that make the space feel both intimate & elevated.

The service was outstanding, with an impressive level of attention to detail throughout the entire evening. You can tell they take real pride in the experience they create.

The food was excellent overall. The black cod was good, though I personally found it a touch on the fishy side, & the miso soup was a bit too salty & missing that deep umami richness I was expecting. That said, the boneless chicken wings completely stole the show-unlike anything I've ever tasted before. Absolutely fantastic & worth the visit on their own.

Overall, a stunning restaurant with exceptional service & memorable dishes. I'd definitely return.

The spicy edamame are no joke, my wife binged them all as they were so tasty! The side effects kicked in almost immediately & ended up exploding in the bathroom. Not cool, but ending up leaving all the sushi for me, excellent food! Overall 8/10 experience! Would definitely go back, just beware of spicy food.

Amazing food, ambience & vibe. The staff were extremely polite & friendly as well. Highly recommend trying to crispy rice cake sushi! It was out of this world. :)

Super belle expérience!
Un énorme merci à Thomas, bartender ultra à l'écoute, qui prépare des cocktails vraiment hors de l'ordinaire, chaque verre était une surprise réussie.
La morue, recommandée par l'hôtesse Gabrielle, était absolument délicieuse, cuite à la perfection!
Notre serveur Marc a été aux petits soins avec nous du début à la fin.
& que dire des sushis Bluefin… ils étaient tout simplement à tomber par terre!
Merci à toute l'équipe pour cette soirée mémorable. On revient, c'est certain !

Cadre très sympa mais service de midi déplorable. Très obtus d'esprit aucun modification possible & surtout pas de sushi à la carte à midi alors qu'il y en a au menu du jour….. aucune discussion possible ce qui est désastreux pour un restaurant de ce standing dans le quartie
