On est allé 2 fois à ce restaurant (hier soir & il y a 2 ans). C'est vraiment excellent. Hier, on a partagé en entrée la ricotta & un plat de pâtes & on a pris comme plat principal l'agneau & les côtelettes de porc. On a vraiment tout adoré. En prime, les serveurs sont sympathiques & donnent de bons conseils.
Le restaurant offre une belle expérience culinaire avec des antipasti absolument délicieux & une focaccia incroyable. Le service est impeccable, avec un personnel attentif & super chaleureux. Cependant, après un voyage en Italie, les pâtes (gnocchis & cavatelli) sont très décevantes.. Cela dit, l'ambiance & le reste des plats compensent largement.
It was our first time in Montreal & we came across this restaurant. We hadn't made a reservation but the staff were accommodating & managed to fit us in after a short wait. Our waiter was knowledgeable & very friendly. The food was exceptional! Highly recommend
Très prétentieux. Des pâtes courtes avec la sauce tomate pas compliqué mais sans espoir. Conseil: achetez la sauce à la viande Stephano & préparez chez vous un bon assiette de spaghettis.
Je leur souhaite du succès pour l'avenir. Toutefois, avec quelques gnocchis de ricotta à 35$ & autres prix démesurés sur la carte, j'ai des doutes sur leur longévité. Les plats étaient tous bien apprêtés mais aucun wow de notre groupe de 4. L'espresso en face chez San Siméon a encore un prix "italien". On aurait du s'en inspirer...
Délicieux de l'entrée au dessert. Excellente sélection de vins avec nombreux choix au verre. Service exceptionnel. Je recommande fortement le menu à partager si vous y allez à plusieurs.
As a tourist from Toronto, it was our first time trying this out. Service & food were both was okay. Pasta was a bit bland to be honest but maybe it's just the one I ordered.
Tout était superbe, ma famille & moi avons très bien mangé! La cuisine était très bonne & les serveurs étaient aimables & attentionnés. Je recommande vivement!

We really enjoyed Impasto! The waiters were friendly & helpful, & because we had a reservation, they gave us a nice seat in the window. The food & presentation was excellent! We especially enjoyed the ricotta & honey with focaccia appetizer & the organic Quebecois syrah that was suggested. Espresso & cannoli was a nice finish. Overall excellent quality for the price. We highly recommend & hope to return!
Absolutely delicious gnocchi, some of the best pasta I have had in CA. Incredible service as well! I will definitely be back-thank you for such a wonderful experience!
I was visiting friends in Montreal & they suggested this restaurant. Though the space is very small, everything about it was worth the five stars I've given it! The food, & the service, could not have been better! Our waiter was attentive but not overbearing. The dishes he suggested were well-prepared & well presented.. One of the women in our party is vegetarian & she found multiple dishes to choose from. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Good food; but oh boy they could have been a "bit" more generous with their pasta plates . Italian food is normally good portions. definitely not here . Cmon Stefano
