Hands down best hot pot in Montreal! It is a very unique experience coming here. You can make your own sauce, the broths are delicious, the restaurant is clean & well organized. Staff is courteous. Make sure to order the noodles!
Good price. Good food. Good portions. Good specials. Make sure you grab the salad bar for an extra 3.99. Game change
We reserved 3 weeks in advance for 6 people. If you don't have a reservation, the wait is around one hour. The concept is new in Montreal so everyone wants to try it out. We ordered a variety of ingredients & were pleased. The desserts were good as well & our waiter was great. I wish that they have more seatings for larger groups.
Super ! Nous avons moi & mes cousines très bien mangées l'ambiance était très sympa, le service excellent belle recommandation. Le serveur Gao est très serviable & chaleureux, je recommande vivement !
While the atmosphere is really nice, it felt a bit cramped which may be normal considering how popular & crowded it is. I have to put a 4* for the food due to the price to food ratio. While i had no complaints about the food, the fact that you pay for what you eat (not all you can eat), i would expect the quality to be above a AYCE hotpot. I did not really notice any difference between the meat here & at another AYCE hotpot. Having the option to split the hotpot in 4 different broths is really nice. Another thing is that it can be hard to gauge what is the quantity we get for the food selected. I spent around 80$ to be decently full. No complaints about the service, it was impeccable.
I went to Haidilao for me & my girlfriend birthday, we were a group of 8. I enjoy eating hot pot but im not necessarily the biggest fan either. I went there with the expectation to have a decent souper with friends but it well exceed it. The food itself was good but what differentiate it to other restaurant is the service. The chef that makes the hand pulled noodle does a very good job to entertain the table while also making the noodles. The waitress was very nice & helpful. Would highly recommend going just for the amazing service but also dont forget to say the secret phrase.
Fondue Haidilao Montreal is genuinely great & yes, easily one of the very best hot pot places in Montreal. The place is new, clean, service is superb, the sourcing of the ingredients is great & the broths are well prepared. I hope they do well & thrive in Montreal as they deserve that (they work so well). Haidilao is classy but relaxed, which is my preference.
