When we first came here it was our first hotpot experience & we found it interesting but a little rushed, & overwhelming. However after a second visit we expressed this, the care we received from management was truly great, very kind people. They made sure everything was right for us afterwards & let us stay as long as we wanted. The buffet is better bang for the buck but be aware that not all broths & meats from the after 5pm menu are included. Although lamb might not be for us, we found the whole experience quite interesting despite the unfamiliar flavours. The laksa broth we found was of the best. Be warned even the less spicy of the two spicy broths is very spicy & mouth numbing.

C'est une expérience unique ! J'adore ce resto, super ambiance, soucis du détail, le service est excellent (un gros merci à Oliver qui a été génial & aux petits soins avec nous & nos enfants :) ) Les bouillons sont délicieux, en plus tu peux prendre ton bouillon pour emporter ! Trop bien ! J'adore !
They dance when they make your FRESH noodles, THEY SING HAPPY BIRTHDAY & give you cake... they dressup in beautiful dragon costumes & open until 4 a.m. I MEAN.... what more can you ask for? & the food is DELICIOUS the pork bone broth...YUMMMM highly reccomend. & if you come SIT IN OLIVER'S section!!! Best service 10/10
Visited Fondue Haidilao in Montreal once, & it left a very good impression. The restaurant is bright, clean, & well organized, & the staff were friendly & attentive throughout the meal. The broths were flavourful, the ingredients fresh, & everything came out quickly despite how busy the place was. It has that lively, energetic hot?pot atmosphere that Haidilao is known for, but still feels comfortable & easy to enjoy even on a first visit. Overall, a solid & satisfying experience - I'd happily come back the next time I'm in Montreal.

Nous étions quatre personnes ce mardi soir pour dîner.
Les plats étaient délicieux, & le hot pot très bien présenté & facile à apprécier.
L'équipe était attentionnée, l'ambiance conviviale & le moment très agréable.

Amazing atmosphere & service. The broths tasted very good & food selection was great. They are usually very busy so reservations are a must. At 7pm daily there's a short & fun Sichuan opera performance. It's definitely on the pricey side, but overall worth the experience. Great service from Kevin today.
We are regular customers at Haidilao & always receive amazing service, but we especially want to thank our server, Shuxin, for his exceptional kindness & professionalism every time we visit.
This New Year's Day, we drove from Ottawa to Montreal specifically for Haidilao. Unfortunately, our car window was accidentally broken, & no stores were open for us to buy tape. Shuxin went out of his way to help us by finding tape from the restaurant & offering it to us, which was incredibly important & allowed us to safely tape the window & drive back to Ottawa.
His kindness truly meant so much to us & went far beyond what is expected. We will absolutely continue coming back as always, & we wish Shuxin all the best in 2026. His hard work & excellent service will not be forgotten by customers like us!

The food was awesome, nice, & warm. Our Waiter, Steven, was very kind, generous, welcoming, & polite. He provided a warm atmosphere, but the sitting area was cold. Everything was awesome.
Expérience générale très bonne! Mais beaucoup trop stressant comme ambiance! C'est pas un souper relaxe mettons! Mais nourriture très bonne & service rapide (trop même).très expéditif!

If you show up as a group of 6-7 beware because it gets really cold. The only table that fits 7 is next to the front door. I gotta mention that it's the only big table. Food is delicious but it was hard to enjoy our food with cold feet. They treated us so good in the end & gave us gifts. We appreciate them so much.
Une expérience culinaire exceptionnelle chez Haidilao aujourd'hui, grâce au service remarquable de Shuxin.
Dès notre arrivée, Shuxin s'est montré non seulement très professionnel, mais aussi d'une grande chaleur humaine. En tant que visiteur à Québec, j'ai beaucoup apprécié ses recommandations locales personnalisées ; il a vraiment à coeur de bien recevoir les gens.
Il est incroyablement efficace & polyvalent (multi-tasking). Il a su gérer toutes nos demandes avec une rapidité impressionnante. Aujourd'hui, avec la pluie, le sol était un peu glissant, mais Shuxin a été extrêmement prévenant. Il a su rassurer les clients & a porté une attention particulière à chaque détail pour contrer les désagréments de la météo.
Un service attentionné, humain & très professionnel. Si vous passez par ici, demandez Shuxin !
I had an incredible dining experience at Haidilao today, all thanks to the exceptional service provided by Shuxin.
From the moment we sat down, Shuxin was not only professional but genuinely warm & enthusiastic. As a visitor to Quebec, I was delighted when he shared some fantastic local recommendations with us-he really goes above & beyond for his guests!
What impressed me most was his ability to multi-task with high efficiency. Even when the restaurant got busy, he handled every concern promptly & with a smile. It was a rainy & gloomy day today, & despite the floors being a bit slippery, Shuxin was incredibly attentive. He went out of his way to ensure everyone felt safe & comfortable, showing genuine care for every detail & considering the inconveniences caused by the weather.
If you visit this location, definitely look for Shuxin. He is a true asset to the team!
It's a challenge to give it a rating lower than 5 stars. Although the service is not as fancy as when it first came out but hey, that was way over the top, now it's just right.
Be careful with your appetite though because that can be a problem. You either ordered too much or way too much.
