Food was amazing! Service was so incredible our server Jason is such a delight! Hotpot soup bases are yummy & the meats are always fresh. The manager was kind enough to give us a tour in the kitchen to see the behind the scenes! I recommend getting the all you can eat buffet, definitely worth your buck!
On est allé tard samedi le 8 août & notre serveur était vraiment gentil. C'était notre première expérience & il a pris ?le temps pour tout bien nous expliquer. Tout était vraiment bon!
First time in haidilao Montreal. I've been to haidilao in other locations- CA & NY, but this was the first time I see that haidilao has AYCE in the downtown Montreal location. Highly recommend making reservations because it can be busy. It was $50 CAD for AYCE & there's an $79 CAD option as well. There was also just an option to opt out of the AYCE & order by selection.
I think the selection for $50 was plenty as there is the bar for all the vegetables, fish balls, beef balls, noodles, & only only meat selection for AYCE 50 CAD was fatty beef & lamb. They allow one shrimp paste per person & one a5 wagyu per person.
Service was great & the sauce stations stayed cleaned. Bathrooms were also clean.
We had dinner there & it was amazing!! Haidilao is literally never a bad idea. The food was delicious, & Steven provided us with excellent service. He was super attentive & made our experience even better. We had such a great time & would definitely come back!
If you had to listen to one review it's mine here. I am asian & ate at every top or affordable restaurant you can name including few michelin stars that everyone has recommended or known wether it's chinese or any culture. This restaurant was very bad, horrible meats, no quality or good food control. If you're paying 70$ to eat the meat & etc, you're better off going to another all you can like Gyubee who actually servers good meat for the same price. We ate not even a plate of meat & we couldn't eat anymore. Worst experience of hot pot I ever had, you're paying thin slice of meat found at your nearby cheap grocery store. Service was ok, but you basically order yourself on your ipad so it's not really a service besides them bringing the food. Very long too, took forever to bring some platers & only gave us an hour & a half to sit & eat.
Vraiment une belle experience avec une belle animation. La nourriure est A1 & le service egalement! Pour ceux qui ne mange pas épicé, prenez garde aux bouillons qui peuvent être très épicés mais excellent!
Disappointing. We went when it wasn't too busy, had to try & get a server's attention as no one checked in on us. We did combo 2, we got 3 out of our 4 meats & waited around 20 minutes when we had to ask for our sides, our noodles & vegetables - they clearly forgot about us. When we asked them, they said the rest of it was still coming but the servers face said otherwise lol.
Disappointed with the service & the food. Better food options in the area. Also don't eat the marinated beef, that is some questionable meat
Steven service impeccable, merci! Ingredients frais, bons bouillons, etc, la seule affaire c'est que quand tu commandes une certaine sorte de nouilles, un monsieur arrive avec un speaker full volume & te fait une danse pour préparer tes nouilles. C'est super divertissant la première fois, mais quand 6 clients en commandent back à back, c'est un peu lourd. Sinon, la danse du dragon c'était vraiment hot
very nice hot pot restaurant. i booked a reservation & they gave us a table in the corner, my favourite, it's like they knew. they gave us aprons, which is good if you are a messy eater. the food is tasty, but honestly kinda pricy for what you get. i liked the chicken, beef, & tofu. we got 4 different soups & they were all good. i also liked the peaches. my bf wants more of the haidilao mints. the service was good too, they checked on us & helped fix one of our soups which was too spicy. overall, i think this is a good spot to treat yourselves to a yummy dinne
