The food is very delicious though expensive.
The seats near the door are uncomfortable as its very cold everytime the door opens. I had to eat with my jacket on.
Service was friendly though I ordered a coffee & it was forgotten.
Overall if seated in the back I would recommend for the quality of the food.
The place is chic & elegant with it's kind of « clientele ». I really liked the decor & ambiance, a total vibe. The only thing is that they are in the higher price range, portions are small, & there is no «regular potatoes & coffee » included.
We had a reservation so we did not have to wait long but there is usually a line up.
I had such a lovely experience. The food & atmosphere were great, but what really stood out was the service. Oshra at the bar made an excellent coffee & all smiles, & Youssef did a phenomenal job making sure everything was perfect. Can't wait to come back!
Went for brunch on a Sunday morning with a friend. Even though we didn't have a reservation & the place was packed, we managed to get two seats at the bar pretty quickly, which was a nice surprise. The decor is stylish, the vibe is lively, the staff was nice, & the music was great.
Food-wise, everything we ordered was tasty & came out fast. However, I was disappointed to learn they don't have an espresso machine. So all coffee-based drinks are made with filtered coffee. At the price point of the menu, I expected better in that department. Also, a simple side of fruit will cost around $17, which felt excessive.
Overall, I'm glad I tried it once, but I'm not sure I'd go back.
We went to Eva's because we were attracted to the aesthetics of the pictures they shared online. The place looks really good. The staff provide good service. The food & drinks were lackluster for the prices. The iced coffee came in a long glass that contained so little liquid that it could be finished with 2 good gulps. It costs more than 10$ though. I ordered a breakfast sandwich priced like an entire meal. When I asked what came with the sandwich, the server told me nothing. You would think maybe the food is very good & that excuses the price. But no, it wasn't bad, but not a full meal price good. They serve sandwiches that could've been served by food trucks, not to say they were bad, but not worth the price.
Fries were good.
Food serving is a bit small for the price but food tastes good. Mostly cocktails, very limited coffee options.
Food was great for brunch despite the limited options! Lovely place & with super friendly staff! Just a lil crowded & limited space. I loved their pancake bites & their waffles! The coffee wasn't that good.
The place is great, the food is amazing & the menu has lot of options that would satisfy everyone. It requires reservations as the seats are limited to the small space of the restaurant. So we made one the night before & I have to say we had the best table in the house. The service was great & the guy who served us was very nice & welcoming, even though he misheard an order, which led to taking too long to get it, but he made 2 orders of French fries on the house for us. The only thing this restaurant missing is an espresso machine & a professional barista, because the coffee was flat & not that great. I wish they had good rich coffee to match the greatness of their food. They serve different beverages of course.
The food itself was quite good. Definitely overpriced but that's what trendy places are these days. Quite bizarre that a brunch place doesn't have a coffee machine so not possible to order a cappuccino (filtered coffee only)
Cute place good atmosphere . Food is simple & delicious . Potions could be bigger. We got the high tower & pancake buns sandwich . Too bad they only have filter coffee , sad for a specialty brunch place
Eva's is an absolute gem in the Montreal brunch scene, & my recent experience there was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance set the perfect tone for a boozy brunch. The decor was trendy yet cozy, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the food. Eva's menu is a brunch lover's dream come true. I opted for the egggslut, & they were a revelation. What made this brunch even more exceptional was the outstanding service, particularly thanks to the manager, Noor. She went above & beyond to ensure that our table was well taken care of. Noor's warm hospitality added a personal touch to our visit, making us feel like valued guests. The staff at Eva's clearly takes pride in their work, & it reflects in the seamless coordination of service. From prompt refills of our coffee to accommodating a special request, their attention to customer satisfaction was evident throughout. The ambiance, delectable food, & exceptional service culminated in what I can confidently say was one of the best brunch experiences in Montreal. Eva's has earned its place as a go-to brunch spot, & I'm already looking forward to my next visit. If you're in the mood for an unforgettable brunch, do yourself a favor & make your way to Eva's - you won't be disappointed!
We went there during a weekend, we made reservations the day before just to avoid any delays as we had other plans. We were seated immediately as we came in. Menu is somehow limited, I don’t think they had any Benedict in the menu. However, everything we tried was great. We didn’t feel rushed to leave our table as in other brunch places. Service was good.
The place is small so tables are very close together. Coffee is only filtered coffee, a good coffee machine would make a big difference. Washrooms are located downstairs & it’s a tad dark.
Try the pancake bites!!
