Eva's is widely celebrated as a premier brunch destination in Montreal, offering a stylish atmosphere that is both cozy and vibrant. Guests frequently praise the consistently high quality of the food, with particular highlights including the signature pancake bites, egg sandwiches, and chicken and waffles. The overall dining experience is elevated by a dedicated and welcoming staff known for their attentiveness and professional service, often going above and beyond to ensure a memorable visit for birthdays and special occasions. While the restaurant is popular and can get quite busy, making a reservation is highly recommended to secure a spot in this trendy St. Henri gem. Although some diners note that the music can occasionally be loud and the pricing reflects the elevated quality, the consensus remains that the combination of delicious, well-seasoned dishes, beautiful décor, and personalized care makes it a standout choice for anyone seeking a top-tier brunch.
Lovely brunch place in St. Henri! We reserved a table & we were right to do so because it gets pretty crowded!
We tried the High Tower plate & the Peterson Classic plate! They were both so so good! We also ordered a side of fries, because it all came a little later than expected, the manager said the fries would be on the house so we truly appreciated that.
The music can be a little loud but it was really a nice vibe, we enjoyed everything.
The filtered coffee was okay. We'll try lattes next time! Overall enjoyable experience.
Eva's is by far the best brunching place I've been to in Montreal & possible the province even. From the food, to the atmosphere, to guest service, everything is incredible. Let's start with the most obvious, the food. Every dish I've ever had the pleasure of eating has always been so so good. The flavours, the consistency it's all there. & we under appreciate consistency whenever we repeatedly go eat at a specific place, but not at Eva's. The dishes are always perfectly made each time. Truly so good. My two personal favourites dishes are the'MTL Cheesteak' & the'Brit' with an extra french fries. The cheesteak is so good, the meat is just perfectly cooked & seasoned. It is so tender it's just wow. The Brit, now THAT'S an egg sandwich. I do not know the receipt & would pay to have it but it is truly perfect especially paired with the mayonnaise.
Now the best for last, guest experience. Upon arrival you're greeted by the one & only Gleb. Gleb is such a nice server/host. He's got this really nice vibe to him & is sincerely really awesome. He's making sure you're having a grand time & grander meal. He checks up occasionally at the perfect amount, not too much to'bother' you but also not too little to accidentally'forget' you. Truly a great choice to have him greet customer & be a server. Another server I truly appreciate everytime as well is, forgive me if I'm mistaken, Ricky. He's a cheerful & sweet fella with glasses. What a warm presence to have when you're out brunching. He goes above & beyond for guest experience & just takes the cherry on top of the cake. Super super nice server & I thank him for his work sincerely. Thank you Eva's!! Thank you to the owner who has a very nice sense of style & amazing staff. Always get personalized experiences no matter how packed the restaurant can be. The music is always good too!!
I came to Eva's for Sunday brunch, & despite the restaurant being absolutely packed, the experience was outstanding from start to finish.
The place was buzzing with energy, & there wasn't an empty table in sight. Despite how busy it was, the hostess & the manager went above & beyond to make sure we were taken care of. They found us a table without making us feel rushed or like an inconvenience. That level of hospitality immediately set the tone for the rest of our visit.
The service throughout the meal was exceptional. The manager was genuinely one of the best hospitality professionals I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He was attentive, welcoming, & made sure every guest felt looked after, even during one of the busiest brunch services imaginable.
The food arrived incredibly quickly, which was impressive considering how full the restaurant was. Everything came out hot, fresh, & absolutely delicious. Every dish was beautifully prepared, & you could tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve.
The atmosphere is exactly what a Sunday brunch should be. The music, the lively crowd, the energy, & the overall ambiance make you forget that the weekend is coming to an end & Monday is right around the corner. It's the perfect place to unwind, laugh, & enjoy an amazing meal with friends or family.
Eva's exceeded every expectation. Incredible food, exceptional service, & an atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. A huge thank you to the hostess, the manager, & the entire team for making our Sunday so memorable. I'll definitely be back, & I highly recommend it to anyone looking for one of the best brunch spots around

Great service & affordable prices for their food, loved the interior design of the place & the music, great ambiance to be honest.
A must try is their quesadillas & eggs, loved it so much.
Eva's is an absolute amazing brunch spot. I love their chill ambiance & always playing good music too. The service is great & very warm & friendly. One of the best fluffiest tastiest pancakes I've ever had ( Hightower dish ) also the sausages in the Hightower are incredibly delicious. The chicken & waffles were perfection & would definitely have again, perfectly seasoned fried chicken & light fluffy waffles. The coffee is really good too. Also easy to make a reservation ahead of time
My family & I went there with no reservation as a last minute thing on a rainy day but were welcomed very nicely! All the staff were so nice & welcoming & kept checking on us, the food was beyond delicious! beautiful environment & enjoyable music too!
The food! The service! The location! The music! Did I mention THE FOOD??!! We did a lot of brunchspots in Montreal but this one was by far the best! Try the steak sandwich & the mini pancakes, you won't be disappointed! 😮?💨
My wife & I just had the best brunch in Montreal. Hands down. This place is not a gimmick. Just brunch elevated. The food was spectacular. The service was fantastic! When we arrived, we were initially sat in the wrong place. We had to be moved because a group was coming in. The situation was handled superbly. We were explained the situation & asked if we minded moving (it was expressed as if we were doing them a favour). Then we were upgraded to a corner booth so my wife & I could sit next to each other. & then we were offered a free drink for helping them out. Other restaurants could learn from this. Also, the music inside was great! I've never seen my wife using her Shazam app so much in a restaurant before. Do yourself a favour & book a table here!
Eva's is such a fun brunch spot with a really unique vibe. The atmosphere feels more like a high-end evening lounge, but somehow it works perfectly for brunch. It's young, lively, & definitely a place you go to enjoy the experience, not just the food. 🤗
& the food truly delivers. My egg in the Le Brit sandwich was incredible - light, fluffy, almost like a delicate carbonara-style texture, & packed with flavor. The avocado toast was fresh & delicious, & my husband said the Mtl cheesesteak was the best he's ever had. Portions are fair, not huge, but definitely satisfying.
A small note: the music can get a bit loud at times, but it didn't take away from the overall experience.
The only thing that disappointed us slightly was the juice. At $5, we expected something a bit more refined, but the grapefruit juice turned out to be Oasis which you can buy at the dollar store, just served in a pretty glass.
That said, everything else was great. Just be sure to make a reservation - it gets busy. Parking is available on nearby streets, though you may need a few extra minutes to find a spot.
Overall, we really enjoyed it & will absolutely be back. Highly recommend! 😋
