Eva's is widely celebrated as a premier brunch destination in Montreal, offering a stylish atmosphere that is both cozy and vibrant. Guests frequently praise the consistently high quality of the food, with particular highlights including the signature pancake bites, egg sandwiches, and chicken and waffles. The overall dining experience is elevated by a dedicated and welcoming staff known for their attentiveness and professional service, often going above and beyond to ensure a memorable visit for birthdays and special occasions. While the restaurant is popular and can get quite busy, making a reservation is highly recommended to secure a spot in this trendy St. Henri gem. Eva's is by far the best brunching place I've been to in Montreal & possible the province even. From the food, to the atmosphere, to guest service, everything is incredible. Let's start with the most obvious, the food. Every dish I've ever had the pleasure of eating has always been so so good. The flavours, the consistency it's all there. & we under appreciate consistency whenever we repeatedly go eat at a specific place, but not at Eva's. The dishes are always perfectly made each time. Truly so good. My two personal favourites dishes are the'MTL Cheesteak' & the'Brit' with an extra french fries. The cheesteak is so good, the meat is just perfectly cooked & seasoned. It is so tender it's just wow. The Brit, now THAT'S an egg sandwich. I do not know the receipt & would pay to have it but it is truly perfect especially paired with the mayonnaise.
Now the best for last, guest experience. Upon arrival you're greeted by the one & only Gleb. Gleb is such a nice server/host. He's got this really nice vibe to him & is sincerely really awesome. He's making sure you're having a grand time & grander meal. He checks up occasionally at the perfect amount, not too much to'bother' you but also not too little to accidentally'forget' you. Truly a great choice to have him greet customer & be a server. Another server I truly appreciate everytime as well is, forgive me if I'm mistaken, Ricky. He's a cheerful & sweet fella with glasses. What a warm presence to have when you're out brunching. He goes above & beyond for guest experience & just takes the cherry on top of the cake. Super super nice server & I thank him for his work sincerely. Thank you Eva's!! Thank you to the owner who has a very nice sense of style & amazing staff. Always get personalized experiences no matter how packed the restaurant can be. The music is always good too!!
Suuuuch a delicious restaurant!! We were 4 & came without a reservation on friday at noon & they had place to accommodate us!! We didn't know what to take, so the waitress recommended the eggslut sandwich & the mini pancake bites, which is what we took. We also took an accompanying plate of fruits. It was absolutely delicious!!! So fresh, the pancakes were so fluffy, & so was the sandwich!! The service was also impeccable, & the prices are reasonable. I'll definitely be going back!!
Good choice if you're looking for a restaurant for brunch. Food was good & portions were generally big, except the Pollo Fuego sandwich which was rather small. I really liked the fries that came with the food, they were perfect. Service was good overall. One of the drinks was forgotten, but they rectified the issue. The place was also very clean & taken care of.

We choose Eva's because it was central for the 3 of us, & we're delighted that we did. A rez was a great idea, especiallyon the weekend. We were seated at the bar, on the corner so we could still chat, & Danielle, the barkeeper as well as manager, took amazing care of us. Just like the way service ought to be. The food was great, Tony loved his poutine, me, my scrambled egg/bacon sandwich was perfect & Bridget's quesedilla had just the right kick to it. Danielle offered us a bowl full of the pancake balls & they were over the moon! The drinks were great & Danielle's working on a wine menu which we helped her with a tasting.
I'd highly recommend Eva's to anyone.
The food! The service! The location! The music! Did I mention THE FOOD??!! We did a lot of brunchspots in Montreal but this one was by far the best! Try the steak sandwich & the mini pancakes, you won't be disappointed! 😮?💨
The eggslut sandwich was so good! The pancake bites were good but a bit too thick/mushy, thought they would be more a timbit kind of vibe. I will also say that it was a bit overpriced but I still enjoyed coming here & would recommend to someone to try at least once.
J ai adoré la place. C est beau. Le seul hic, j avais un sandwich au boeuf, la sauce dans l assiette était froide, comme mon cappuccino. Tout le reste un beau wow
The atmosphere was very nice, the service is top they offered fruit plate for us.
The eggslut sandwich is 10/10
& minipanckae was without mistake
The french toast could be better 7/10
From start to finish the greeting & service was warm. Went midday on a Friday so not too busy. Party of 2, each had the egg sandwich which was delightful & share the pancake bites. Pancake bites are great to share, they are sweet so served well as a dessert post sandwich. Food took a bit of time but i attribute that likely to a small staff during off peak hours. Also had their spritz made with real blackberry & mint. Again slightly sweeter (my sweet tooth tends to be on the less sweet side) so would oder again but ask for less sugar.
Oh the soundtrack was great too!!
Eva's is such a fun brunch spot with a really unique vibe. The atmosphere feels more like a high-end evening lounge, but somehow it works perfectly for brunch. It's young, lively, & definitely a place you go to enjoy the experience, not just the food. 🤗
& the food truly delivers. My egg in the Le Brit sandwich was incredible - light, fluffy, almost like a delicate carbonara-style texture, & packed with flavor. The avocado toast was fresh & delicious, & my husband said the Mtl cheesesteak was the best he's ever had. Portions are fair, not huge, but definitely satisfying.
A small note: the music can get a bit loud at times, but it didn't take away from the overall experience.
The only thing that disappointed us slightly was the juice. At $5, we expected something a bit more refined, but the grapefruit juice turned out to be Oasis which you can buy at the dollar store, just served in a pretty glass.
That said, everything else was great. Just be sure to make a reservation - it gets busy. Parking is available on nearby streets, though you may need a few extra minutes to find a spot.
Overall, we really enjoyed it & will absolutely be back. Highly recommend! 😋
