Review Summary

EVA's is widely regarded as a standout brunch destination in Montreal, celebrated for its stylish, trendy atmosphere and highly photogenic decor. Many patrons rave about the quality of the food, with specific highlights including the pancake bites, chicken and waffles, and various sandwich offerings like the Eggslut and MTL Cheesesteak. While the overall vibe is consistently praised for being lively and fun, some visitors find the music volume can be quite loud and suggest that reservations are essential due to the restaurant's popularity. Customer service experiences are varied, with many guests commending the attentive and welcoming staff, while others express frustration over inconsistent service speeds, perceived high prices, and limited coffee options. Despite mixed feelings regarding value and wait times, most reviewers agree that the unique environment and delicious menu make it a place worth experiencing at least once.

Good choice if you're looking for a restaurant for brunch. Food was good & portions were generally big, except the Pollo Fuego sandwich which was rather small. I really liked the fries that came with the food, they were perfect. Service was good overall. One of the drinks was forgotten, but they rectified the issue. The place was also very clean & taken care of.

Had such a good brunch here - the avo toast & lox bagel were delicious! They squeezed us in at the bar on a busy Saturday morning & took great care of us. Shoutout Danielle for the great service & fab outfit

The food! The service! The location! The music! Did I mention THE FOOD??!! We did a lot of brunchspots in Montreal but this one was by far the best! Try the steak sandwich & the mini pancakes, you won't be disappointed! 😮?💨

My wife & I just had the best brunch in Montreal. Hands down. This place is not a gimmick. Just brunch elevated. The food was spectacular. The service was fantastic! When we arrived, we were initially sat in the wrong place. We had to be moved because a group was coming in. The situation was handled superbly. We were explained the situation & asked if we minded moving (it was expressed as if we were doing them a favour). Then we were upgraded to a corner booth so my wife & I could sit next to each other. & then we were offered a free drink for helping them out. Other restaurants could learn from this. Also, the music inside was great! I've never seen my wife using her Shazam app so much in a restaurant before. Do yourself a favour & book a table here!

1ère impression: Le service etait hors pair.
Food is all home made. I had the chicken waffle & my spouse the french toast. The waffles were light & fluffy & the fried chicken was top notch. The french toast were thick & if you're a cinnamon lover, this is a must.
The vibe is chill &, there is no one pushing you out once you're done eating.
I usually don't go to montreal for brunch but I would go back again for sure(already reserved for next month. )
Our server Shannon( hope I got that right) was attentive & helpfull. Thanks!

Eva's is such a fun brunch spot with a really unique vibe. The atmosphere feels more like a high-end evening lounge, but somehow it works perfectly for brunch. It's young, lively, & definitely a place you go to enjoy the experience, not just the food. 🤗

& the food truly delivers. My egg in the Le Brit sandwich was incredible - light, fluffy, almost like a delicate carbonara-style texture, & packed with flavor. The avocado toast was fresh & delicious, & my husband said the Mtl cheesesteak was the best he's ever had. Portions are fair, not huge, but definitely satisfying.

A small note: the music can get a bit loud at times, but it didn't take away from the overall experience.

The only thing that disappointed us slightly was the juice. At $5, we expected something a bit more refined, but the grapefruit juice turned out to be Oasis which you can buy at the dollar store, just served in a pretty glass.

That said, everything else was great. Just be sure to make a reservation - it gets busy. Parking is available on nearby streets, though you may need a few extra minutes to find a spot.

Overall, we really enjoyed it & will absolutely be back. Highly recommend! 😋
