L'Ambroisie and L'Espace Canal are located in the courtyard of Chateau St-Ambroisie, a historical heritage building situated on the edge of the Lachine Canal in the St-Henri district of Montreal. Only a few minutes from downtown, the restaurant welcomes a business clientele and groups of friends, in a casual atmosphere. Stuart Abrams, chef and owner, invites you to discover his establishment, renowned for its terraces and elegant reception rooms.
Our Happy Hour are every Tuesday to Friday from 4pm to 7pm. In the summer, watch for our Thursday's Live music! on the terrace.

My son is getting married here. But what people don't know anybody could go there at the restaurant, which is great. & prices are decent. & I have to tell you, Amber, makes a hell of a good sangria. Yes, it is a place where they host a lot of events, but it's also a restaurant with a big terrasse. Right by the water, just go & check it out. I strongly recommend it.

We had the absolute pleasure of getting married at L'Espace Canal a few days ago, & truly, we wouldn't have changed a thing!
From start to finish, the entire team made our wedding unforgettable.
Our coordinator, Alexandra, guided us throughout the entire year. She answered every question quickly, supported us through each detail, & made the planning process feel easy & reassuring.
On the day of the wedding, we had Cléa coordinating , & she was incredible. Her energy, kindness, & calm confidence made the whole day run flawlessly. She set everything up beautifully, kept everything on track, & was so collaborative & lovely to work with.
Tony, your service was exceptional! You checked on us throughout the night, made sure we were always taken care of, & added such a thoughtful touch to the evening.
DJ Big Daddy, thank you for keeping the dance floor packed!! Your energy was incredible!

We just had our wedding here, what a phenomenal venue. Excellent support from Alex & Clea during the planning process & day of coordination. The food was excellent, all of our guests raved about the meals & canapes. It's a stunning location right on the Lachine canal, we had our cocktails outside & so many of our guests were taking photos as the location is very picturesque. We took the string lights, they added such a nice touch. Highly recommend

They blew me away the day of our son's wedding to Alannah
The wedding was on Saturday. Everything was ready, as discussed, when we arrive. Clean, in order, set up in & out. They delivered on every promise. Alexandra & Amber were in leadership roles. The staff was personable, polished, gracious & efficient. They looked well groomed, even fashionable in black, & interacted easily with guests, walking that fine line, warm & genuine but not overly familiar. Smiles were unwavering. The wait staff came around often, the amazing appetizers were plentiful during cocktails. Water was refilled, wine as well, we didn't need to ask. This went on throughout the meal. Nina & Vincent stood out for me. The bartender, Marie-France was a dynamo, seamlessly multi tasking & serving multiple people at once, smiling & friendly. At one point our friend spilled a full glass of wine . Everyone was dancing, nobody was sitting at the table, the table cloth was a mess, we left it & went to dance. As we walked by 5 or 10 minutes later, the tablecloth had been changed! The food was excellent & the service was incredible. After the hard stop at midnight, we expected to be there a long while, packing up tons of bud vases & flowers. But everything had been boxed up for us in the last moments of the night. We were out of there in no time, happy & impressed. Thank you for everything! You made our son, & our new daughter, very happy.

Nous avons célébré notre mariage à l'Ambroisie ce weekend.
Nous avons pu élaborer un menu à notre image avec l'aide du chef. Le repas a été très apprécié par nos invités. Le dj qui nous a été assigné par l'agence était EXCELLENT! Il a su mettre une ambiance de feu toute la soirée. Il y a eu de la pluie, donc la cérémonie a eu lieu à l'intérieur. On nous a remboursé les frais pour la cérémonie au jardin super rapidement, & le plan B intérieur fut un très beau moment.
Nous avons planifié le tout dans la dernière année avec Alexandra, qui a été très disponible, aidante & sympathique.
Malheureusement, nous avons eu une autre coordonnatrice pour le jour J, Jaimes Seguin, que nous n'avons jamais pu rencontrer avant le mariage. Elle a dû s'absenter à la rencontre prévue la veille avec très peu de préavis, & le jour du mariage, elle nous a semblé désorganisée & stressée. Nous avons eu de la difficulté à la trouver à plusieurs reprises pendant la soirée, ce qui a ajouté du stress à une journée où nous avions besoin d'être guidés. À la suite de notre avis, Mme Seguin a pris le temps de communiquer avec nous pour nous présenter ses excuses, un geste que nous avons apprécié.
L'ensemble des autres personnes avec qui nous avons collaboré ont été exceptionnels : Cléa, Amber, Stuart (le chef), Rohan, le cuisinier dont le prénom m'échappe.. ❤?
