Very good food, warm & professional service, very complete & qualitative wine list. Last but not least, a very good price/quality ratio!
A very credible alternative to Lemeac when in Montreal!

I went to Dorsia with the expectation of an elegant experience... & honestly, I left completely disappointed.

For starters, the place is beautiful, yes, but the service was slow & pretentious. It seemed that the waiters were more focused on showing off than on attending. They took a long time to bring even the water, & anything you asked for seemed to be annoying.

Food does not justify exaggerated prices at all. I ordered homemade pasta & arrived warm, tasteless, as if she had been left resting for too long. The duck dish - which is supposed to be one of its forts - was dry & unfunny. Honestly, I have eaten much better in many simpler restaurants.

The expensive cocktails for what they are, & the atmosphere is too noisy for a place that is supposed to'fine dining.'.

In summary:

❌ The bad thing I experienced

Slow service & not attentive.

Unflavored dishes & warm served.

Prices totally disproportionate to quality.

Noisy & uncomfortable environment.

Lots of appearance, little substance.

Because of the price & fame, I was expecting something memorable... & the only memorable thing was disappointment.

Dorsia is such a great spot in Old Montreal! The ambiance is beautiful, the service is amazing, & the food is next level. Everything is so well prepared, with fresh, high quality ingredients. Definitely a place worth visiting for a special night out! Highly recommended!!!!!!!!! 🙂

A real hidden gem in Old Montreal! The attention to details is phenomenal. The interior designer & the art is absolutely incredible which sets the tone on a beautiful experience. Service was excellent, from the moment we walked in to leaving they were very attentive & made us feel at home. Food portion was small but the quality was at a high level. Prices are great for the quality. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great fine dining experience to visit Dorsia! Their music selection is also a nice bonus adding on to the overall dinner.

Wasn't impressed with the quality. The scallops were ok, the filet was the same quality you could find at casa grecque. Lacked seasoning, & felt like it was prepared by an amateur cook

Un restaurant d'exception ! What a fabulous restaurant. The attention to details is remarkable. From the design which has a very Contemporary European feel to it, with high quality fabrics, material & design, to the Art Collection which has been curated as for an elegant home or an Art Gallery, to the choice of cutlery, china & glassware. All with a common trait of elegance, high quality & great design. Everything has been well thought out, including the music selection which was broadcasted throughout a great sound system. The food is creative, tasty & elegant without being fussy, is served with a team of professionals. I left the restaurant thinking, what a great time we had... a real treat & for those who appreciate high quality & attention to details, a feast for the soul.

THANK YOU AMINE!! Dorsia🤍 is a true culinary gem that offers an unforgettable dining experience from start to finish. Every dish is a masterpiece, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality, creativity, & flavor. The duck was a standout-perfectly cooked with a crispy skin & tender, juicy meat that melted in my mouth. The richness of the duck was balanced beautifully with a subtle sweetness that made every bite a delight. Next came the salmon sashimi-a dish that surprised & delighted with its fresh & melting texture, creating a harmonious blend that was both sophisticated & comforting. The scallop ceviche was a revelation. The scallops were incredibly fresh, with a perfect balance of acidity & sweetness. Each bite was light, refreshing, & bursting with flavor, making it a perfect appetizer to whet the appetite. The steak filet mignon tartare was another highlight. The beef was of exceptional quality, finely chopped & seasoned to perfection. The tartare had a rich, robust flavor with just the right amount of spice, making it a dish I would return for again & again. The atmosphere is warm & inviting, & the service is top-notch. I can't recommend this place enough-every dish is a culinary journey worth taking.

This restaurant is quite new (its been open for 3 weeks) but the service & quality of the food was impeccable. They take the quality of their food very seriously. There was a dish which we didn't like that much & they removed it from our bill because they believed the quality of the dish did not match the expectations of the restaurant. I was extremely impressed by this gesture. The whole staff was extremely knowledgeable & very professional. I will definitely be back 🤗
