Listen Im From Chicago & Im Visiting & I Have Never Seen A Pretty Diner In America Until I Came To Canada. The Food 100/10, The Customer Service 100/10, we was greeted by Alexandra she is super nice ans her body tea she so pretty, then our waiter Maïka OMG SHE WAS WONDERFUL, she made this experience perfect. WHEN YOU COME TO MONTRÊAL CANADA COME TO DEVILLE & SEE MAÏKA. the music is too tear too i love it & will be back. a lot of other baddies in the building as well.
It's a fun & lively restaurant. Music is loud, but it may have been because we were seating under a speaker. A good mix of styles.
The food was good; however, a little on the expensive side.

I've been to this restaurant twice: once for drinks & once for a meal.
The ambiance is really nice, especially upstairs, & the wall paintings give it a nice touch.
We tried the Devil Burger, which was okay, & the staff were friendly & welcoming.
The music was really my style,
& I feel the value for money could be a bit better.
Absolutely loved this place, staff was stellar, the chef came out & chatted a bit. The fork & knife Caesar salad was incredible, I've come back home & it's the main thing that stuck out to me. No idea how a salad struck me so well, but it was amazing.
I had a steak sandwich too, just to try, wasn't my favorite, but I don't think I like steak sandwiches, I was just trying something new. The bread was amazing though & freshly made. The drinks were also very good, & the bar tender was very friendly.
Unlike much of Montreal the music wasn't exploding my eardrums & it was a nice comfy spot. Does close a little early, but highlight recommend if you're looking for a bite!
Trendy atmosphere with excellent food & table service that was not only fast but the waiter who accompanied us during the evening was really kind & ready to give excellent advice! All accompanied by good music! I recommend it
We went there on a Saturday early evening & we were a party of 3 with a 2 years old baby. Very friendly & attentive staff who welcomed us & were very patient & friendly with our baby. They do have indoor & outdoor seatings but I highly recommend the outdoor seatings since the weather was nice during our visit in late September. The atmosphere was a little bit loud since they play really loud music but at the end before our leave the music becomes more quiet & less noisy. Food was delicious & portions are easy to share with a group. I'd visit again to try their desserts.
I think it's the first time I give 5 stars to a restaurant but this!!!!! The vibe is nice the staffs are nice. They recommend good things & also the music wasn't as loud as I thought it would be, so you could actually make a conversation with ur friends. The Bartender Zack ( don't know how to write his name) THE BESTTTTTT!!!! The drinks are good like hella good & he is sweet! Will come back for sure.

Music is really good, the oreo shake is tasty, the service is good, but the BLT with chicken avocado bacon on brioche was kinda nasty, I was starving so I had half & left the rest.. the bacon was cooked much earlier in the day & been sitting out & pretty tough.. the chicken I don't think it was cooked fresh either altho more recently but the flavor of it was off, maybe it had been sitting out for too long also.. the brioche didn't add anything to the meal it was just another piece of bread.. & separately from the freshness factor, the sandwich lacked flavor & tasted quite bland. Probably I wouldn't care so much but the restaurant is pricy so I'd hope for fresh bacon & fresh chicken & brioche that adds texture & flavor.. I didn't get any of that
Deville Dinerbar est un restaurant chaleureux où l'ambiance musicale, à la fois variée & bien dosée, contribue à une atmosphère détendue & agréable.
Le service est irréprochable : professionnel, attentionné & toujours respectueux. On s'y sent bien accueilli du début à la fin.
Les cocktails sont aussi beaux que bons bien présentés, rafraîchissants & savoureux. Côté cuisine, les plats sont généreusement servis, savoureux & parfaitement exécutés.
Une excellente adresse pour passer un bon moment entre amis ou en couple, dans un cadre à la fois moderne & convivial.
I was searching for a place for a light meal near our hotel. This diner bar popped up on my radar. Didn't expect this place to be suitable for kids. They even have a kids menu (not a physical one but a verbal one).
When we arrived, we felt under dressed since there were patrons in smart casual attire. We were immediately guided upstairs where there were casually dressed people like us. We notice a few tables with families with kids. Our kids ordered mac & cheese unfortunately did not taste good & the burger wasn't the best. They ordered an orange juice but got apple. Kids didn't even have the appetite for dessert.
The music was too loud to even communicate properly which led to a miscommunication - mix up of an order. Thankfully they rectified it.
Overall this place wasn't for us, but I guess others might say otherwise.

We had a fun & tasty experience. It has a lively & trendy decor & music. We sat at a comfortable booth. We tried the tuna tacos which were light & delicious. We loved the wasabi mayo. The squid was crunchy & delish. Then we enjoyed the burgers & fries.
The salads looked amazing so I want to return to try one.
My first time here & I intend to come back every time I visit Montreal. It has awsome food, chilling vibe & perfect customer service. I was server by Samuel, that made me feel very welcomed amd gave me great suggestions of dishes. It has good music & a nice external aerea as well. I recommend it 1000%

Super cute place! We wanted to try the poutine n drinks after shopping near by. Very good drinks. Reasonable prices. Poutine was very good, fries were crispy. Music was lovely disco songs. Service was courteous.
The service, food, & fries were all very good except the floor was sticky. I like how they don't blast music & keep the volume at the conversational level.
More specifically wanted to point my amazing Waiter Igor . Made my Birthday super super special. This is exactly what i wanted for my birthday & i got it all . The place good music food the readon I come back .
The food was delicious, great music, great atmosphere & our server Samuel was an outstanding waiter - attentive, knowledgeable, & genuinely kind. His service greatly enhanced our dining experience, making it memorable. Highly recommend!
