We have eaten here a dozen times over the past few years & have never been disappointed. The staff are great, & they all speak English as fluently as they do French. Prices are competitive with other downtown restaurants. I recommend making an online reservation as soon as you can.
I love it, just past by & I decided to inter. Best decisions of my day. The drinks are absolutely amazing & the people too. I would definitely come back

The ladies who saw us in were friendly,smiling & beautiful. Our waiter, whos name i didnt catch but do know hes from montana was excellent. He gave us recommendations, filled uo our water when needed & was very friendly & attentive. I had the wagyu sliders, hands down best burger i ever ate, & one of the best bites i ever tasted. What a spot will be back for sure
Superbe restaurant avec une ambiance rétro dinner des années 50-60, mais avec une touche de modernité. Le personnel était incroyable très bien servie & la nourriture était incroyable les portions valait le prix & la nourriture excellente avec un menu inventif & intéressant
The whole evening was really excellent. The service was courteous, informative & quick paced. The food is truly phenomenal. Everyone at our table enjoyed our dishes. Special shout out to the The Pollo de la Brasso dish. Wow. Will definitely be recomminding & returning
Deville Dinerbar is one of those places that quietly becomes part of your rotation without forcing it. I've been a few times over the past few months, mostly for drinks & a few appetizers & each visit has been consistently good.
It strikes a nice balance: approachable enough for a casual stop-in, but polished enough that it still feels like you've gone somewhere.
What I Liked:
I haven't done a full meal yet, but what I have had has been impressive.
The lamb chops were fantastic… well cooked, flavorful, & the kind of dish you don't expect to stand out as much as it does. The pulled short rib lettuce tacos were also a highlight… light, well balanced, & easy to keep going back to.
On our most recent visit, we sat at the bar & ordered a bottle of wine. Service was quick & genuinely friendly. There was a natural ease to the interaction, some laughs, no script, no rush… which always makes a difference.
One small knock: two wines we initially tried to order weren't available. That said, the server helped us pivot to something else that was actually less expensive & still enjoyable, so no real harm done.
Atmosphere & Vibe:
The space leans into an upscale American diner concept, but does it tastefully.
It's upbeat without being loud, refined without being stiff. Sitting at the bar, there's a nice energy, people coming & going, food flowing out that genuinely looks great, & a sense that the place knows exactly what it is.
Location is also a big plus. Being close to Peel metro & surrounded by nightlife makes it an easy stop-whether you're starting your night or just passing through.
Closing:
Deville is a great go-to when you want something reliable, a little elevated, & easy.
It's not trying to be the best meal you've ever had, but it doesn't need to be. It delivers consistently, feels good to be in, & leaves you wanting to come back.

Visiting MTL for the first time & so thrilled that this was our first dinner here. Food was delicious with generous portions, drinks had tons of creative flavors (& were strong), & the bar staff were so friendly. Jayden in particular was super cool to chat with & offered some advice to help us decide if we're moving here :)
Honestly this place is a guaranteed quality meal & portions well reflect the price. You wont leave hungry. Salads are so good ! So much protein & stuff in it.
