Had the General Tao salad - huge chunks of chicken, nice dressing & overall very good. For dessert we shared Monkey Ball, which was fantastic. Excellent place to eat!
Deville Diner is one of my favorite restaurants in Montréal. It's my go-to spot whenever I'm downtown, when friends are visiting, or when someone asks me for a restaurant recommendation.
Not only is the food consistently delicious, but the presentation is spectacular, the staff are incredibly kind & professional, & the décor/atmosphere/music are always fun & energetic. The cocktails, the main courses, the giant salads, & the desserts (omg New Orleans beignets!!) are all fantastic. Honestly, I've never had a bad meal there. Highly recommend!

No single meal recommendations - this place literally serves great food ! Oh, & make sure to keep some space for dessert , these guys know how to send you home satisfied !

À première vue, on pense que c'est plus une place pour adultes seulement mais non, famille de 4 a 8 vous êtes la bienvenue. Je suis aller avec ma famille pour la fête des pères pour mon père & c'était parfait. Si vous voulez vivre une expérience gastronomique pour une première fois. C'est la place pour, prix abordables & même très peux chère comparer a d'autres (salut saint-hubert & McDo). Le service au petit oignons & l'ambiance juste parfait, pas trop de bruit pour être dérangeant & pas trop silencieux pour être plat & morts. Les tenue des serveurs serveuses sont classe & style. Bref un incontournable. Pour ceux qui veulent des photos de plat voici mon repas & les deux dessert pour 4 qu'on a ramener a la maison.
Nous avons visité Deville Dinerbar pour souper en couple, & nous avons adoré! Le menu est très varié, il y en a pour tous les goûts. L'endroit est propre & assez vaste, les tables sont spacieuses. Le service avec Sophie était excellent. Très sympathique, alerte & elle connaît bien le menu. Tout a été servi fraîchement préparé, c'est chaud, croustillant & très savoureux. C'est un resto un peu plus dispendieux mais les portions sont énormes donc ça en vaut 100% le prix. On sent aussi que c'est plus « classe » que plusieurs restos dans le genre, on change les assiettes & ustensiles entre les services, petit détail qui est agréable. Nous y retournerons assurément (pour le
Brunch aussi). On recommande fortement les beignets à partager en dessert, ils sont tout simplement incroyables!!
Deville Dinerbar was one of those places you visit without expectations but leave at the end of the night blown away. This may be one of the best eating experiences in Montreal from a food quality & presentation. What a great dinner style atmosphere & super friendly staff. Chef John puts passion into all of his dishes & runs a very impressive kitchen full of beautiful presentation.
Great food, Great Presentation, Great atmosphere would highly recommend. Don't forget the dessert, maybe the best I've eaten in Montreal, wow!! Easy parking with public parking lot right next door. Fantastic walking area especially if it's summer time. A must visit would highly recommend 👍👍
Location is good at the middle Downtown. The burger & French dessert were so amazing & good quality. The red wine & Prosecco were nice. Just the service was slow, it was not busy Friday but we waited for our waiter too long
I was there a week ago & everything about this place was amazing! Chloe was SUCH a sweetie pie! She was a delight to talk to & she was VERY patient with us! NOW THAT CHEF JOHN🙂??? I NEED HIM AT MY WEDDING!!! That man knows how to COOK! The dessert in the picture had all of us passing away to heaven. THAT'S HOW GOOD IT WAS! I even gave John a hug. When I tell you they all took care of us INCLUDING the owner I MEAN IT!! I hope every single one of their pillows are cold on both sides everytime their heads touch it!!! I'll definitely be coming back & hopefully I'll see Chloe & John there again! Thank you bunchies!!🥰
We went there on a Saturday early evening & we were a party of 3 with a 2 years old baby. Very friendly & attentive staff who welcomed us & were very patient & friendly with our baby. They do have indoor & outdoor seatings but I highly recommend the outdoor seatings since the weather was nice during our visit in late September. The atmosphere was a little bit loud since they play really loud music but at the end before our leave the music becomes more quiet & less noisy. Food was delicious & portions are easy to share with a group. I'd visit again to try their desserts.
