Been here several times before & has always been great. This particular
Monday night I guess the chef had an off night. Everyone's food was subpar except for 2 salads. Burgers & fries were cold & tasteless, the prime rib au jus came with a bland cold gravy, not the au jus that was on the menu. The waiter offered to change the fries & we took him up on it. Very surprising for this place as otherwise is usually very good.

Absolutely loved this place, staff was stellar, the chef came out & chatted a bit. The fork & knife Caesar salad was incredible, I've come back home & it's the main thing that stuck out to me. No idea how a salad struck me so well, but it was amazing.

I had a steak sandwich too, just to try, wasn't my favorite, but I don't think I like steak sandwiches, I was just trying something new. The bread was amazing though & freshly made. The drinks were also very good, & the bar tender was very friendly.

Unlike much of Montreal the music wasn't exploding my eardrums & it was a nice comfy spot. Does close a little early, but highlight recommend if you're looking for a bite!

We went to Deville Dinerbar on a Sunday night after a long drive from Ottawa, & it turned out to be an absolute surprise. The food was outstanding, full of flavor, & clearly made with care. They have an absolutely great beef program that truly stands out.

We ordered the short ribs, cheeseburger, Caesar salad, tuna tacos, & fries. Every single dish was perfect. The burger was to die for, & the ribs were some of the best I've had anywhere in Canada. The presentation, taste, & overall quality were excellent.

The restaurant itself is beautiful, vibrant, stylish, & full of energy. Another highlight was the service. When we arrived without a reservation, we asked for a booth, but the host mentioned they were all taken. One of the managers, who happened to be working at a booth at the back, overheard us & immediately offered us his own table. That thoughtful gesture made a great impression & really showed the professionalism & hospitality of the team.

Deville Dinerbar definitely earned a new loyal customer that night. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Montreal

This place bills itself as an American Diner. It's not. The food is far too good to call this a diner. No disrespect to diners: I love a good corned beef hash. The burgers on this menu are so next level, they're orbiting the earth. I had the Paris No. 7. It was served on a wholly unnecessary brioche bun. The dish was swimming in a beefy, winey sauce that... well, let me rescind what I said above. You will want the bread so you can soak up every drop. I had a house side salad which is so good, they should just force everyone to get it by dropping fries from their menu. Cocktails were also pure perfection. Totally unexpected & wholly enjoyable dinner.

Food, atmosphere , location. It has it all.
Nice cozy street in the middle of bustling neighborhood.
Beautifully designed, the restaurant provides accommodation for any occasion. Thoughtful distribution of different areas inside makes it possible to enjoy your evening, party or romantic dinner at all times. The bar in the middle looks vibrant & inviting.
& then the food. Delicious.
Excellent execution. Beautiful presentation. The menu is impressive & extensive. Whatever you crave for you will be satisfied. Portions are generous. Any modification is possible. Every single course , be it meat, pasta, salad or dessert , is prepared at the top level.
You want to try it all!
Same feeling for the bar. If you don't find your ideal drink just ask for it & you will be happy.
The team is professional. You feel welcome & cared for.
You don't need an occasion to be there.
Just go.

We had a fun & tasty experience. It has a lively & trendy decor & music. We sat at a comfortable booth. We tried the tuna tacos which were light & delicious. We loved the wasabi mayo. The squid was crunchy & delish. Then we enjoyed the burgers & fries.
The salads looked amazing so I want to return to try one.

Our experience was fantastic! I had a delicious macchiato & bacon poutine. The poutine was killer! We packed the leftovers & brought them back to Maine, USA with us- LOL! The Neptune Ahi Tuna salad was out of this world. Environment was fun, staff friendly. Bathrooms had cute deco art- super fun for us since we were Bruins fans visiting.

Fantastic dinner first night out with our family of six in Montreal. Deville was recommended by the concierge at the Omni. Great advice! Food & service were tremendous. I got the Tao Chicken Salad. My wife got a delicious vodka cocktail. Highly recommend!

I first tried deville & never expected for it to be that good! Since then I started to come almost everyday as they have a variety of options. From salads, to pasta, desserts, & good red wine. The waiter is so sweet his name was Ali. He helped us picking our dishes & it was so tasty!!!

Loved our lunch here, superb service & lovely decor with the pink & white giving Barbie at the bar. Loved everything from brunch today & the staff were very attentive & friendly. We ordered the carbonara, the mighty nice salad , the French toast. All of the flavours were amazing. Really Enjoyed the weekend at Bernie's & au cheval burgers . The food was excellent with very generous portions.

I had the wonderful opportunity to dine here last Saturday night. I sat at the bar & ordered the Bone-in Chicken Parm & a Ceaser Salad. Let me tell you this... It was to die for the salad was cold fresh & had a delicious flavor. I would order that over & over. The main course was amazing. Huge portion & wonder taste. I couldn't finish it all. I am a big guy, & I walked away full & 100% satisfied. The bar tender was exceptional, & her personality was so inviting & warm. The owner stopped by & asked how my meal was. A great touch & made a customer feel valued. I will be there again to try their other dishes. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Cesar salade was not tasty at all with almost dried ans burnt bacons. It also comes with carrot cake chunks! It was good but weired. Ribeye was well cooked but the piece had a lot of fat.

I will definitely come back to deville. We ordered a lot of food including: ribs, steak salad, burger & fries, & dessert. The cocktails are to die for & the ambiance is nice.

Very nice restaurant with great dishes. The neptune salad (with Tuna) was particularly good. Our waitress JANA was very efficient in looking after our table in a pleasant & very friendly manner.
