Nice little trendy coffee in old montreal. Love the decor & atmosphere of this coffee shop. I love their lattée, americano or cortado. I would also recommend their cannolis or biscotti if you are hungry. Yummy!
I had an extremely upsetting & disappointing experience at Café Olimpico in Montreal. At first, everything was going well-I was joking around with the cashier while paying, & we were having a good time. But then another staff member, a tall, blonde, tattooed guy working behind the barista counter, completely ruined the mood with his rude & racist behavior.
When I politely asked if my iced latte had been mixed, he snapped,'It's your job to do that.' I calmly told him he could speak more respectfully to clients, & instead of responding professionally, he mocked me by repeatedly saying'habibi, habibi' in a sarcastic & condescending tone-clearly targeting me for being Arab.
When I asked for his name (at least five times), he refused to give it. Instead, he stepped out from behind the counter & tried to intimidate me, as if hoping I would react so he could shift the blame onto me. I didn't respond to his provocation, but the whole situation left me feeling humiliated & unsafe.
This type of behavior is completely unacceptable. No customer should ever face racism or intimidation-especially not in a diverse city like Montreal. I sincerely hope Café Olimpico takes this seriously & enforces proper training & accountability.

Found this place while exploring Old Montreal. A charming little Italian café with excellent coffee & a warm ambiance. They only have half a dozen tables, but there was seating available at 10am. Would recommend the café latte & pistachio bomboloni.
Worth the wait. Amazing Italian coffee, hot chocolate & treats. Loved the bombalonis. Amazing attentive staff that noticed my son was sad that he did not get a delicious hot chocolate (tasted his brothers). They gave him a hot chocolate free of charge. Love this place. ❤️

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles & exceptional customer service that made me feel right at home. Their hot chocolate is nothing short of perfection. It was rich, velvety, & perfectly balanced-not too sweet, with just the right amount of chocolatey indulgence. Served with a sprinkle of cocoa powder, it felt like a hug in a cup. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients, & the care put into its preparation is evident in every sip. The staff were incredibly attentive & friendly, ensuring I had everything I needed. They even took the time to recommend some pastries to pair with the drink, which turned out to be an amazing combination.
Tasty Pastry, Good Coffee, & Historical vibe. First time in Montreal, & received a tons of good things about Cafe Olimpico that I must pay a visit. We stopped by after a sight shopping around Old town area. So luckily that we got an empty spot! Tiramisu, Latte, Affogato for the first round! Briefly, Tiramisu was good, fresh made. It's the most famous here. Affogato suit to my non-coffee type of person, but I found that it was SO sweet! Second round, 2x Bomboloni! a small little dough stuffed with Pistachio cream, & Chocolate chips were great. Frankly, it wasn't sweet like Affogato. Staffs were friendly, with French expression. lol Overall, loved everything here, certainly recommended.

I recently visited Cafe Olimpico & was thoroughly impressed by both their service & coffee. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles & a welcoming atmosphere. They were attentive & knowledgeable, helping me choose the perfect coffee for my liking. The coffee itself was exceptional-rich & aromatic, with a smooth finish that left me wanting more. I tried their signature blend, & it was perfectly balanced, showcasing the quality of their beans. Overall, I highly recommend Cafe olimpico for anyone looking for a delightful coffee experience coupled with excellent service. Nick & Nico were working when I went & I love to see one of their faces there because I know I'm always going to get the best coffee & service.

Got the cafe crema, caffe latte, nutella croissant, pistachio bomboloni , & tiramisu. AMAZING taste. Legitimately the most delicious cafe drinks & food. The service was also spectacular. Since we speak english we expected to be treated with a bad attitude like some places in montreal, yet the baristas were super friendly & conversational. Will recommend to everyone & come back for sure! It was quite busy & a long line though. The prices were also very reasonable, our drinks were like 4$ each.

The highlight of my visit was definitely their tiramisu. It was simply divine - creamy, rich, & perfectly balanced in sweetness. A must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth! Their latte is also exceptional. The coffee is smooth & robust, with just the right amount of foam. It's clear they use high-quality beans & take great care in their preparation. The ambiance of the café is cozy & charming, making it a perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. Whether you're there for a quick coffee or to savor their delicious desserts, Café Olimpico never disappoints.
I highly recommend for a coffee (I took latte), a dessert & even the sandwiches were tasty. It is located in Vieux Montreal in a cute area. The barista Julien was very welcoming & friendly, he took the time to discuss & give recommendations in Montreal.

Nice latte night chill spot. Especially for those who don't go clubbing, this is a great alienation. The coffee & quite strong so I'm glad I ordered it in latte. I even drink lots of coffee but their pours are almost like you are eating well roasted grounds. They have cookies & ice cream as well. I tried the amaretto cookie & it was fluffy & soft & not crumbly & hard like I hoped but it went well with the coffee because it was sweet & helped cut the bitter strength of the coffee. Space is limited here even though the building is beautiful stone in a great neighborhood to walk.
This is considered most hyped cafe in Montreal but indeed we feel it's worth to try! We're impressed with the taste of their coffee & pastry. We ordered the caffe latte & hot chocolate plus the cornetti & bomboloni cakes & it's really well made! The environment & atmosphere is nice & friendly & not very crowded in early morning (they open 6am which is very early to tourist) so mostly is local people here take breakfast in the morning. Only one employee is making everything but it's efficient & running smoothly. It's located in old port & near the Notre-Dame as well
Oh my! The enjoyment we got from visiting this café is hard to describe. It was on my wishlist, & I expected a great experience, but I had no idea the coffee would be this good. We ordered the latte freddo & pistachio affogato, & tiramisu-all of which were absolutely delicious. The latte freddo had a perfect balance of bitterness & sweetness, & the affogato was a delightful mix of espresso & gelato.
If you are a coffee lover like I am, get the cortado if it's cold out there, if not, get the Café Freddo with an extra shot of espresso. It's out of this world. The guy attending is also amazing.
