This place definitely lives up to the hype. I got the remix & it was amazing. It had a strong coffee taste & which the sweetness of the coffee ice cream it was amazing!!! I did wait in line for about 15 minutes but it was delicious & not overly expensive. The atmosphere was also great to sit & have a drink.

We feel so lucky to have found Café Olimpico - Vieux-Montréal! After being disappointed by a few other spots in the area with great Google reviews where we unfortunately saw frozen croissants being defrosted right in the freezers, coming here was a breath of fresh air.
The staff here are wonderful-so happy to answer our many questions-& we left with happy bellies & fully caffeinated, ready to explore Montreal. A major highlight was the pistachio gluten-free cookie, which genuinely did not have any fake almond flavor. I also loved the frosty coffee drink; it felt like a delicious marriage of ice cream & coffee, though not quite an Affogato. Another fantastic bonus is that they can make an Affogato with their hazelnut, pistachio, or vanilla ice cream.
I'll definitely be back. Thank you for existing!

Can you guys stop flirting with young women & just give us the damn coffee? I came here to get a drink, not to be hit on by the staff.

I really don't appreciate the free coffee either. It doesn't make the interaction flattering; it just makes it more uncomfortable. Not every café, bar, or public place needs to become an opportunity to get a date.

It's unprofessional, awkward, & exhausting. Please grow up, respect your customers, & just do your job.

Café Olimpico is the absolute soul of Montreal's cafe culture. It completely nails that classic, high-energy European espresso bar vibe, backed by an amazing crew of baristas who are as friendly as they are fast. Every drink is flawless & the pastries are superb.

Honestly one of the most reliable places for a quick caffeine fix in the city. I am not usually one for the touristy areas but this place manages to keep its own character despite the location. The service was efficient & the space was clean. If you want a good drink without any of the nonsense this is the place to go. I will definitely be stopping back here next time I am in the neighborhood for a meeting.

Everytime i go to old montreal this is my first stop the tiramisu is always a must & the place is just breathtaking you get a view from a beautiful street while drinking your coffee best if you go after the sun is down!

I visited for the first time yesterday & was honestly shocked by the service.

The baristas were incredibly rude & acted like making my order was a major inconvenience.

Beyond the attitude, the drink felt like a total scam. I ordered a medium cortado, but the cup was barely half full. I understand a cortado is a small, traditional drink, but if you offer a'medium' size & charge more for it, you shouldn't be giving customers the same small amount of coffee.
Between the dismissive staff & the misleading pricing, I won't be coming back.

Save your money & go somewhere that actually wants your business.

Went on a sunny but windy day & it was packed with people. The place was very lively but setting the tone for a friendly & inviting atmosphere.
The staff, while being quite busy, was still very friendly & patient with us. They gave us a few rounds of free water while in line & even a little chocolate on the house.
The drinks & snacks were fantastic as well & well worth the roughly 10min wait.
Would happily return next time I'm in the area!
