Belle place mais le café est petit pas vraiment une place pour se poser, lors de notre visite énormément de monde. Les toilettes n'était pas très propre. Le café été bon mais pas exceptionnel. Un peu de mal à comprendre la vibe.
One of the best coffee shops in town. The menu is pretty limited & there's no fancy syrups or upsizes. The coffee is delicious & affordable. The staff are always friendly & the service is fast even when there's a lineup.
Visited this little (& I mean really little) place in mid-May 2026 because I heard the cannoli at Café Olimpico was pretty good. They have a number of locations but this one is right across of Eaton Centre, tucked away in a tiny shop. There was a big line that was crammed inside but we waited & ordered a cannoli. Gotta say that I was underwhelmed. It kinda tasted like it was sitting too long & the shell got a bit too stale.
A tight coffee shop with the waiting line folding in on itself. Small quarters & hustle-&-bustle baristas give this place a lively yet cozy feel. Drinks come out fast & delicious, so the wait looks long but in fact goes quick. Pastries are great.
Très mauvaise expérience aujourd'hui au Café Olimpico du centre-ville. J'ai commandé & payé deux cafés Remix (environ 24 $ avec 18 % de pourboire) par carte à la caisse. Après être sortie pour aller à ma voiture, un employé est sorti en courant dans la rue en m'accusant publiquement d'être partie sans payer.
C'était extrêmement humiliant & insultant, surtout considérant que le paiement avait bel & bien été effectué. Une simple vérification entre employés aurait évité cette situation. Être traitée comme une voleuse devant tout le monde alors qu'on est une cliente normale est inacceptable.
Très déçue du manque de professionnalisme & de respect.

It was a really nice, warm & sunny Saturday so the line stretched all the way to the door. However the line moved fast so I didn't mind the wait. While I liked the ambiance inside, the cafe is quite small & tight. There were a few tables to sit for a few people but there was no space to move & stroll about in the cafe... all that space was filled with people in a serpentine line. Usually people go outside of the cafe to chill but if the weather isn't cooperating, it's hard to enjoy your drink indoors.
Nevertheless, the service was fast & professional. The staff were very friendly & helpful.
I ordered a cafe freddo, black & I enjoyed it quite a lot. I decided not to add any milk just to enjoy the texture of the espresso & ice.
Overall, a really nice authentic Italian café in the heart of downtown Montreal!
