Very authentic Italian Coffee shop with amazing pastries. Justin & Nelson are great at what they do & will be sure to leave you with a smile on your face. The Pistachio Croissant was the best I have ever had & they gave us a complimentary taste of their signature espresso ice cream treat.

A montreal classic. Tiny shop, only meant for take out coffees. Almost always a line but it goes by quick. I like their remix a lot (a layered mix of cold espresso, caffe crema soft-serve, with hot frothed milk & chocolate). I recommend it to anyone who likes a nice sweet but not too sweet coffee treat in the summer.
The affogato also isn't bad, just a bit too much ice cream for me. Their mocha is one of the best.
Ce café à l'ambiance tamisée est une vraie petite perle. 🍰☕? L'atmosphère est feutrée, chaleureuse, & donne envie de s'attarder longtemps autour d'un espresso ou d'un cappuccino bien mousseux.
Mais le vrai coup de coeur ? Les desserts italiens. 🇮🇹✨ Croissants dorés, biscuits croustillants, gâteaux moelleux & ces douceurs qu'on ne trouve pas partout. Chaque bouchée transporte directement à Rome ou à Naples, avec ce mélange de simplicité & de gourmandise qui fait la magie de la pâtisserie italienne.
Le comptoir déborde de tentations : tiramisu, biscotti, petites douceurs maison… le genre de vitrine où on a envie de tout goûter. 😍 Les prix sont honnêtes, & la qualité rend chaque euro (ou dollar) bien investi.
We had an excellent experience at this coffee shop - the espresso was rich, smooth, & expertly made, & the overall coffee quality was top-notch. The staff were professional & the atmosphere was welcoming within the café itself.
Unfortunately, outside of this space, our experience in Montreal was overshadowed by instances of racism, which deeply impacted our overall impression of the city. While the coffee shop offered a brief & much-needed positive moment, the broader social climate left us feeling disappointed & disheartened.
If coffee had a party, it would be at Café Olimpico! This place serves up espresso with personality - rich, bold, & oh-so-satisfying. The vibe? Think European café meets Montreal soul, with just the right dose of charm. The staff are cool, the energy is contagious, & yes, the patio is perfect for people-watching or pretending you're in Rome. Great coffee shop in the heart of Montreal. Had a chance to check this place in the evening & it was packed! Ordered the pistachio ice cream & mochaccino (double espresso). Let's start with the ice cream - rich, creamy & with a light taste of pistachio (which I appreciated). The mochaccino packed a punch with the espresso & was great. Overall, definitely check them out. Staff is great & worth a visit!
We recommend stopping by Café Olimpico for a coffee! We tried the espresso macchiato & cappuccino, & both were very nice & also more affordable than most spots in downtown Montreal. We appreciated the staff's (or owner's) incredible friendliness & energy, it made our visit even more enjoyable.
We chose to sit inside, but we'd actually recommend getting your coffee to-go. While the café has a cozy atmosphere, the space is quite small, & when it gets busy, it can feel a bit crowded with people waiting in line. Overall, great coffee, great service-definitely worth a visit!

Delicious coffee! I'm not sure what I had but the barista recommended some hot/cold drink mixture (crema, milk & espresso shot) & it was really good. The location is very small but it has a very cozy vibe & I love that they are open late. Enjoying a nice coffee a night during the holiday season was amazing!
One of the best espresso I had. Very smooth. Only two people working on the counter & despite the long line up, they make not only amazing coffee but also quick service. Must go cafe if you are around for quick grab of coffee. Don't be alarmed with the long line up!

You know the coffee is going to be amazing when the barista refuses to serve the first batch of espresso they made because it wasn't up to their standard, & then remakes the coffee. Probably the best coffee I have had in the city, I only wish the place was a little bigger.
Update: On Monday, January 8, I revisited Olimpico & recounted the incident to the other barista, Daniele. He responded with absolute professionalism, offering an explanation for such occurrences in a bustling café, expressing gratitude for my feedback, & extending an apology. _______________ Tonight, I experienced disappointment. I choose Olimpico to have freshly grounded espresso. After ordering two Cortados, the barista used preground coffee that had been sitting around the grinder throughout the day, scraping it off to make my shot. This was unprofessional, but I felt too shy to voice my complaint. (Jan 3rd, before closing)
Olimpico is truly a perfect place. I work nearby, & right from the start I was hooked to the perfect coffees (espresso in my case), & fantastic staff. Within a couple of visits they took the time to reach out to me, ask my name, & genuinely chat. The friendliest bunch I can imagine. The cafe itself is nice & small, but don't let the lines discourage you! The guys behind the counter pump out amazing beverages like crazy. Shoutout to Lucas Rota, who gives me my espresso boost most afternoons! What a guy! Great bunch they all are, really.
