The barista is friendly & welcoming. The place is small, has a few tables so it's more suitable for take-out. Our experience is pleasant most of the time. However, the cahier is not up to par -- mistakes on invoicing & automatically charge of a 18% tips on the machine for take-out orders without giving customers a choice to decide how much they want to tip (keep in mind this is about takeout orders). We happened to notice this problem because we got paper invoice this time, otherwise we won't be aware because we just simply tap the machine. We will still support the shop but this tipping practice is annoying because they are not transparent to customers.
Small nice place to have a coffee with your partner. They have a good service & the most wonderful coffee.
This is a great little coffee shop with delicious pastries & excellent coffee.
Second coffee stop on this Montreal trip delivered.
Walked into a big linetop on a Tuesday morning. It's goota be good.
Had an oat milk cappuccino & the to die for tiramisu. Amazing.
Also to go Nutella cookie. Sicilian Cannoli & a lemon biscotti. All amazing. Great little spot. Only 6 or so tables but good amount of dine in room.
Also surprised how fast & good the service was given only one person working, & a 12 people lineup when I got there.
Big thank you to Nelson & Spencer for delicious coffee & a really pleasant interaction. Best possible representation for Olimpico. You guys are great, thank you!
I don't usually say this, but you can literally close your eyes & pick anything - it'll taste amazing. High-quality pastries that somehow taste better than anything I've had in Italy or NYC. Now I know Montréal has a real gem. 💎
I've tried several kinds of coffee here; all were great, but my top recommendations are the caffè crema & the cortado.
The staff is also wonderful - warm, attentive, & genuinely welcoming.
Overall, this café is a true work of art. Absolutely beautiful.
I've been to the Mile End location of this cafe, but I was downtown so I thought I'd check out this location. It was slightly underground & a little smaller, but very quaint. I ordered the Latte Freddo iced & it was a very delicious & smooth iced coffee. Whenever I'm in Montreal I do make it a point to visit this place as it is one of my favorite coffee shops in the city! They also sell Italian pastries which I have tried before at the other location. Also very good! There's a reason there's several locations of this place, it means they are doing well. Highly recommend for good coffee in Montreal!
Loved Justin. Great guy, give him a raise when he comes back from vacation. Meal was incredible, coffee was delicious & just the right temperature. Wonderful ambiance too, great music taste. Overall, I'll be coming back again. Not enough seating, but I can't even be bothered because the service & food is great. Thanks.
Coffee is nice, service is nice but the place is very cold inside & not so comfortable to sit.
The music is great & it's packed with people. The coffee & tiramisu are both good, but the portions are small-you'll have to take them to go.
Excellent coffee. Great atmosphere. Envious we don't have one in Toronto. Justin is friendly & slings a mean latte.
Best coffee in Montreal. Killer sandwiches. Staff treats you like family. Justin makes everyone feel welcome!
I love this place. The vibe is great but most importantly the coffee & food is exceptional. I saw Justin this morning who was working today at the Robert Bourassa shop. He always has a smile on his face & generally wants to know how you are doing. So pleasant & do I have to tell you that the coffee is out of this world!! Thank you Justin for making my mornings so pleasant & thank you Cafe Olympico. This is truly a gem of a place here in Montreal. Esther :-)
We got a pistachio croissant & some coffee. Justin was great & very personable!
