Had a great dining experience. Server was very nice to us & we felt welcomed. I really liked the taste & quantity of broccoli spaetzle & atmosphere of candle light dinner was nice as well.
Excellente cuisine ! Les plats sont tous surprenants, d'une très grande qualité. Le choix des vins est large. Le lieu est très convivial, vivant & adapté aux groupes. Nous avons passé un bon moment. Je recommande !

La nourriture est très bonne! La formule parfaite pour goûter à plusieurs plats & partager un repas entre amis/famille/couple. Le service était un peu long, mais rien de trop dérangeant.
Our first destination meal in Montréal was a bit of a disappointment. The price of wine was prohibitive beyond one glass of their cheapest offering, & we barely scraped out a shared meal for $150.00 USD. The fennel salad was our favorite: fresh & bright with an original mix of flavors: very good! The cod croquettes were heavily fried, the calamari pretty standard & the oysters uneven. Attentive service helped brighten our time.
The place was full on a Sunday evening! We split 7 dishes between three people. The fingerling potatoes with chimichuri were deliciously crispy, the broccoli with labneh & the carrot salad were filling. We also had a cod croquette each & I think we wish we all had another each. The chicken thigh dish was a salad of sorts but went well with the carrot salad. The risotto was rich & creamy. The calamari was disappointing- it didn't feel like the flavours went together & the dish was too wide so it got cold quite quickly. Highly recommend this spot!
Excellent restaurant, la nourriture était vraiment succulente, les plats très soignés, il y avait vraiment une recherche, nous avons adoré tous nos plats. La taille des assiettes était aussi largement suffisante. Ce qu'on a moins aimé c'est un petit peu le bruit, le restaurant était plein & c'est tout de même très bruyant. Aussi sur la carte des vins, je crois avoir compris qu'il y avait beaucoup de vins importés , qui ne sont pas toujours des succès on va dire, mais sinon dans l'ensemble c'est vraiment un restaurant que je recommande pour la qualité de la nourriture & des goûts particuliers, avec des mélanges très intéressants. Nos assiettes étaient par ailleurs magnifiques.

Never had a bad meal here. We don't really eat meat so can't pronounce myself on those dishes, but the broccoli spaetzle (still on the menu thank you!), fennel salad, tomato peach salad, eggplant dip, roasted fingerling, cod fritters - all succulent. Good wine selection too, overall no reason to not come back as much as possible. Yum!
This was a highlight of a recent trip to Montreal. Sat at the bar. Had friendly but not intrusive service. Food was incredible. Wine suggestions were well matched & reasonably priced. Definitely check this place out.
I had a mixed experience at Cadet. While some dishes were spectacular (the fennel salad, broccoli, steak tartare), some were confusingly flat & lacking depth of flavour (tomato salad, calamari, chicken thighs). The chocolate tart was decent. Service was exceptional. I may give it another shot but I was a little bit disappointed.
Great wine selection, wish their dishes were more vegan friendly, but the kitchen was still very accommodating. Would come back next time I’m in Montreal!
The server was nice, & the atmosphere was nice as well. The food was well presented, but a lot of the flavors were mute. The dessert was amazing tho.
Would recommend trying it once. Also AVOID the salad in the corner of the image. Idk who said orange in a salad was good
Very vibrant & fun atmosphere. Staff is quick & know their food/cocktail/wine menus very well. Every single plate was flavourful & tasty. I recommend coming here over Bouillon Bilk ! More fun ;)
