My son & daughter discovered this bakery on their many trips to Montreal. I went with my daughter & I really loved the place! The counter staff were so friendly & welcoming!
I am heading to Montreal now & this will be my first stop!
This place is the bomb!! They moved to a brand new, modern location across the street & the baked goods are as good as ever.
This is one of Montreal's true old school kosher bakery.
The best bakery in town! Also coffee & croissants & breakfast pastries.
Delicious & authentic Jewish bakery! Fresh, flavorful, & reasonably priced. Friendly service & a cozy spot on St-Viateur.
J'avais hâte de goûter leur challah ! Malheureusement, un pain sec, trop cuit qui goûtait le brûlé, le dessus noirci.....est-ce cela un challah ? Mais il faut dire qu'à 6.50$, c'est quand même une aubaine pour la quantité.
Just like in Seinfeld their chocolate bubka is worth stealing from an old lady, best in the city & in their new digs even more room to see their selection.
The chocolate covered cheesecake was 10/10 for us. We haven't had time to try the rest, but we bought 3 mini cheesecakes, 2 large cookies, a big loaf of brown bread & a large chocolate cone filled with whipped cream $23 very reasonable imho
Toujours heureuse de fréquenter cette pâtisserie unique en son genre.
Employés qui ont l'air un peu d'être surexploités & donc exténués & donc peu accueillants. Pâtisseries qui goûtent le sucre raffiné & pain qui goûte la farine. Y'a 2-3 trucs très bon (couronne de fromage, bakba), mais règle générale c'est souvent trop sucré & ça lève le coeur assez vite. Je sais pas comment dire : ça goute cheap. J'ai aussi appris que la business supporte ouvertement Trump. Oh well.
