This is my go-to downtown bakery for a quick breakfast, late lunch, grabbing something for a gathering, or just treating myself to a REALLY good dessert. I've tried a bunch of stuff over the past few months, margherita, pepperoni, & vegetarian pizzas, milk bread, chocolatines, croissants, mini donuts, & some desserts that I don't know the names. Cheesecake is one of my favorites here!! They never let me down. The employees are welcoming & nice. My bad I know their faces more than their names, but shout out to Doua!
Personnel non chaleureux. & de plus, ils ne comptabilisent pas les achats lorsqu'on leur donnent la carte de fidélité. Ils disent à chaque fois que le système est en panne. & les rares fois, ils comptabilisent un montant au hasard… Pas honnête du tout!
Loved the crispy, buttery, soft, & fluffy croissants! Easily one of the best croissants I have ever had! The cafe latte was too good! Loved the ambience of the café as well.
I recently had disgusting experience here at Tuesday morning around 10:40/10:50 am., going to this place more then year cause living in front, before was nice but now morning staff the most unprofessional, rude, disrespectful people , not the fist time I experienced this type of client service in this place, that's why I stoped going often here . I ordered a latte, after one small sip, I burned my tongue badly & the roof of my mouth. The milk was overheated so far beyond a safe temperature - enough to cause visible burns that still hurt days later. Now have major burn on my tongue, needed to go to the doctor.
When I approached the staff, they did not apologize, & instead laughed & simply added cold milk. There was no concern for customer safety or wellbeing.
A hot drink that causes a physical burn is a serious issue, & the reaction of the staff was unprofessional & unacceptable. I am submitted a formal complaint to Montreal Public Health, as serving beverages at unsafe temperatures is a food safety hazard.
I hope management takes this seriously & reviews staff training & safety standards.

J'ai voulu faire une commande & la personne a été très désagréable, hautaine & arrogante.
Quand j'ai demandé le nom de la personne, elle m'a répondu être l'adjointe sur un ton fier.
Je trouve cela encore plus grave & déplorable.
Je ne recommande pas cette boulangerie car le service est toujours décevant à chaque passage. C'est bien en dessous des standards de la chaîne française originale.

Boulangerie Ange is my new go-to for bakery bliss. The croissants are ultra-flaky & buttery, the baguettes crackle when you tear them, & the pastries (hello, fruit tarts) taste as good as they look. Loved the sandwiches on freshly baked bread & a smooth coffee to match. The space is bright & welcoming, staff are friendly, & prices feel fair for the quality. Perfect for a quick breakfast, a treat with friends, or grabbing a warm loaf to take home-if it survives the ride!
Tout est excellent ! Nous y allons depuis quelques années, les fins de semaine uniquement (après-midi). Mais depuis un certain temps, le service est mauvais. On dirait qu'on dérange. Aucune attention. Pas de sourire ou presque. C'est vraiment dommage. Une copine l'a aussi constaté.
