Review Summary

Overall, reviewers describe a popular stop with tasty flavors and friendly service, though experiences vary on value, cleanliness, and setting. Several note that the ice cream itself is delicious, with mentions of mint chocolate chip tasting natural and free of colorants, non dairy Tonight Dough, and loyal favorites like Chunky Monkey and various coffee varieties. Price and portion size are common themes, with some finding two scoops smaller than expected for the price and others calling the price high for the amount, particularly for visitors from other currencies. Cleanliness and ambiance receive mixed feedback: some locations are clean, bright, and well kept with helpful staff, while others report dirty tables, crumbs, insects, and an uncomfortable atmosphere. Service is frequently praised as friendly and attentive, with staff helping choose flavors and make recommendations, and one note of receiving a free ice cream brightening the day. Overall the reviews show strong positives around flavor and service, tempered by concerns about price, portion size, and cleanliness depending on the visit.

Rania - our server- was sweet (like the ice cream). 😊
Cycling home from the Jazz Fest, I had a craving for ice cream & B & J satisfied the craving. I ordered one scoop of coffee, coffee, Buzz buzz buzz, & one scoop of chunky monkey, my longtime go to flavour.
The price for a small ice cream- $9.50 with tax- would be very affordable for Americans & Europeans with stronger currencies, however, as a Montrealer, I found it really expensive.
The ice cream itself was delicious.
Tip: eat fast, so the ice cream doesn't melt & drip all for you.😉
