Really good experience. The waitress Marie really took care of us she was very attentive. Special mention for the what seems to be the owner or main manager who took the time to sing an opera worthy happy birthday song to my birthday friend. Overall, the restaurant is truly unique within the city. I recommend the salmon entrée, amazing!

Went here with my boyfriend for our anniversary dinner & had an amazing time. Isabelle our server was absolutely lovely & takes great photos! Highly recommend this experience because the food was fantastic & atmosphere was nice!
On est venu manger le jour de la saint Valentin & mis a part le cadre, le reste est vraiment plus qu'ordinaire pour le prix. Le service a pris une eternité,on a tellement attendu entre chaque plat que ca en a perdu de son intérêt. La soupe en entrée était tiède, la sauce de la viance n'avait pas été mise à côté comme je l'avais demandé, le dessert annoncait un fondant chocolat & caramel salé avec coulis de framboises, on n'a jamais vu le caramel & le coulis de framboises était du vulgaire sirop de fraises. Si on n'est pas en mesure d'offrir ce qui est sur la carte, me semble que la moindre des choses c'est d'avertir le client? Je pense qu'il n'y a pas de cuisine sur le bateau & que tout est du réchauffé, voire même les desserts ne sont pas préprarés par eux.. J'ai attendu & jamais eu de lait avec mon café. Bref, vraiment, le service est a revoir en entier, c'est pas bon ! Pour le décor, on a quasi soupé avec nos voisins de table tellement les tables sont proches, & la rentabilité est vraiment le maitre mot. En bref, un lieu hyper décevant que je ne recommande pas du tout pour ce prix !
The Frozen Evening on the boat in the Old Port of Montreal was a delightful way to spend the evening. The cuisine was excellent, the environment was unique & memorable. Our waitress Isabelle provided excellent service. We recommend to anyone wishing a special evening.

I didn't expect anything other than a view & probably'ok' & colder food than inside of a restaurant.
Well, it was a pleasant surprise.
I'm glad I didn't get influenced with some of the negative comments here. You need to acknowledge the physics & logistics & then you can appreciate or do a constructive criticism.
Its outside. Its cold between the dome & kitchen. They have some equipment to carry the stuff without losing too much heat etc but the time it takes from the kitchen to your table won't give you a sizzling salmon or steak in your plate, but you won't eat ice cold, no worries.
Service speed. They could have different ways to optimize the time for order & delivery, with the distance etc, it should be electronic & what not, some will say, at the same time, you are here to enjoy the view, you rent the space for a few hours & just relax! Yes there's always room for improvement. They might miss some small details like pour you water but you can do it yourself, if you get triggered for things like that, you're missing on the experience.
Temperature. We were there at about 0 degree celsius. Heaters inside the dome.did the job. Never got cold. Staff was super nice & friendly.
Tip them considering if you would do that kind of work in this temperature & they diserve every dollar even if your beer takes 10 minutes to arrive.
Environment/mood. Magical. Silence. Beautiful & more space than anticipated. I loved this. No crying baby or loudmouth next to us, no dramma, just some quality time with my GF as I was looking for something different than the usual restaurant.
Would I recommend? Yes. But Calibrate your expectations.& relax.
Will I come again? Most probably for a special event.
Is it expensive? Well, its not cheap. Its not outrageous considering the setup, electricity (not only 1 fan but several), rental & logistics involved.
one of the best dinners i had in Canada. Place is pretty chill & it gives a michelin starred restaurant. Service too is very good specially thanks to Mary who served & explained to us how everything works & the menu.
Food was excellent! I ordered the main course duck, one of the best ducks i ever ate in my life. I would 100% recommend this place for couples who wants to celebrate an occasion or even with friends.
Its a shame that the bateaux didnt move but overall 9/10 exp.
Shoutout to our server Mary & she was fantastic! She was very accommodating, explained all the information needed, very kind & not boring at all. I recommend her! In all the ambiance, food service & food quality is excellent. I would recommend the filet mignon, medium rare! Pricey but worth it!
