La deuxième salle privée comporte 60 places assises, et se prête à toutes les sortes de célébrations!
Il est possible de réserver le restaurant au grand complet, uniquement le dimanche, pour un minimum de 80 personnes.
Nous mettons à votre disposition deux écrans de télévisions, de grandeur standard, afin que vous puissiez écouter confortablement vos émissions de sport préférées!

This place is amazing. High end steak & seafood. Our group of 5 had an amazing evening & all of the food we had was outstanding. I had the filet brule which was topped with goat cheese - yum! Side dishes of Brussels sprouts & roasted red peppers were very tasty.
Wine selection was plentiful & we found a great wine that was recommended by our waiter. No desserts (too full!), but after dinner limoncello was very good.
Service was good , food was great . It's pretty much my go to steakhouse in Montreal . They have a very nice bar area 18+ of course with a very good band , mostly Jazz so a bit louder then the rest of the resto . But Wali really has tones to make your night.

Favorite steakhouse so far, ordered prime rib with mash potatoes & mushroom in wine reduction sauce, porter house & lobster, salmon, & veal. It's done perfectly to our liking & it was served fast. The only thing is the location is very busy traffic is so bad took us 1hr to get there instead of 30, but the food is worth it.
*****Revisited our favorite steakhouse in Montreal & it never disappoints no traffic this time on a Monday night , this time we ordered tomahawk for 2 with sides of spinach,mash potatoes & , caramelized onions. & complimentary chocolate soufle. Rahjit provide quick & efficient service.

Went for lunch for the first time last week. Amazing restaurant...felt like I was at an Italian wedding. Great decor, great delicious food, attentive service. Had rib eye steak which was very tender & tasty. Nice atmosphere to eat in & you are treated like class. Highly recommended...will definitely come back soon

I went back recently for lunch. Delicious as usual. Very classy restaurant. Special shout out to Pandelis our waiter, great service & good attitude. Will come back for sure.
It was good, but to be honest, I expected more. My steak was medium, not medium rare as requested, but I was starving & didn't want to wait for a new one, it was tender & delicious though. We also found the portions to be small, for example the soup was a small cup & the steak brochette, there was only one brochette. Our server was friendly but slow & needed reminders to bring stuff that we asked for, including the wine menu. I found it odd that they did not bring us the drink menu until we asked & I was halfway through my meal by the time my wine came, though I had ordered it a little while before the meal came. I had already ordered a cocktail, but would have tried one of their unique drinks if I had've been given the menu in the first place. The bathroom was a mess, but otherwise the atmosphere was nice & the jazz band was a really nice touch.
We went for lunch, to celebrate my husband's birthday. I had the best meal I've had in a while. Halibut with lemon creamy pasta. He had the pepper steak, we both had the wedge salad with Caesar dressing. Dessert was dulce de leche cheesecake. We thoroughly enjoyed everything, & had fantastic service from Natasha.
40 West is a beautiful steakhouse. As you pull up in the parking lot, you immediately sense that you are in for a rich experience before you even step in the door. The building itself is adorned with massive windows & the entrance is flanked by massive pillars giving it the feel of a Greek coliseum. Upon entering you are greeted by large brick archways that lead to the different seating areas of the restaurant.
My party had a reservation for 8 & we were seated within 10 minutes of our arrival. It's always nice to not have to wait when you have a reservation.
Our table was clean & nicely set. Our waiter, whom I neglected to get his name was prompt, professional & informative. Drink service was quick & bread brought to the table quickly.
For starters, I ordered the tuna tartare. I was served a healthy portion with two croquettes & some string potatoes that were extremely thin & crusted. The whole dish was very good, however the tuna has slightly to much sesame oil mixed in but still tasted good & was fresh. Paired with the croquettes & the salty string potatoes produce a wonderful little bite, that has some kick to it as well.
For the main I elected to have an 8 ounce filter mignon & for my side I added the truffle Mac & Cheese.
The steak arrived perfectly cooked to a medium rare, seared, salted & peppered. Extremely tender & tasty. Clearly a very high quality cut of beef. The truffle Mac & cheese was excellent served with little sea shell noodles that were perfectly el dente. Very creamy sauce with a hint of tomatoes & the truffle oil was the perfect level.
The service was good through out with our plates being cleared quickly & our table kept clean from crumbs. Our waiter was attentive throughout without being over bearing.
If you appreciate a fine dining experience & enjoy high quality steak houses you will not be disappointed with 40 West. The ambience is great with just the right amount of light & music is in the background & not blasting in your ears & you can enjoy conversation throughout your meal.
This was a great place for our party but would be perfect for a date night as well with several 2 seat tables available.
