An excellent dining experience from start to finish! The food was outstanding, & the quality of the meat truly stood out. It was tender, juicy, perfectly seasoned, & cooked beautifully.
The ambiance was elegant, the service was courteous. Sugeen was a fantastic server, friendly, attentive, & professional. The maître d' was warm & welcoming, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Truly a place worth coming back to!

Went for lunch for the first time last week. Amazing restaurant...felt like I was at an Italian wedding. Great decor, great delicious food, attentive service. Had rib eye steak which was very tender & tasty. Nice atmosphere to eat in & you are treated like class. Highly recommended...will definitely come back soon

40 West is a beautiful steakhouse. As you pull up in the parking lot, you immediately sense that you are in for a rich experience before you even step in the door. The building itself is adorned with massive windows & the entrance is flanked by massive pillars giving it the feel of a Greek coliseum. Upon entering you are greeted by large brick archways that lead to the different seating areas of the restaurant.

My party had a reservation for 8 & we were seated within 10 minutes of our arrival. It's always nice to not have to wait when you have a reservation.

Our table was clean & nicely set. Our waiter, whom I neglected to get his name was prompt, professional & informative. Drink service was quick & bread brought to the table quickly.

For starters, I ordered the tuna tartare. I was served a healthy portion with two croquettes & some string potatoes that were extremely thin & crusted. The whole dish was very good, however the tuna has slightly to much sesame oil mixed in but still tasted good & was fresh. Paired with the croquettes & the salty string potatoes produce a wonderful little bite, that has some kick to it as well.

For the main I elected to have an 8 ounce filter mignon & for my side I added the truffle Mac & Cheese.

The steak arrived perfectly cooked to a medium rare, seared, salted & peppered. Extremely tender & tasty. Clearly a very high quality cut of beef. The truffle Mac & cheese was excellent served with little sea shell noodles that were perfectly el dente. Very creamy sauce with a hint of tomatoes & the truffle oil was the perfect level.

The service was good through out with our plates being cleared quickly & our table kept clean from crumbs. Our waiter was attentive throughout without being over bearing.

If you appreciate a fine dining experience & enjoy high quality steak houses you will not be disappointed with 40 West. The ambience is great with just the right amount of light & music is in the background & not blasting in your ears & you can enjoy conversation throughout your meal.

This was a great place for our party but would be perfect for a date night as well with several 2 seat tables available.

I've always enjoyed coming to this restaurant, which is why I was surprised by my recent experience during an event.
Unfortunately, the reception at the front did not reflect the level of professionalism I would expect from an establishment with such a strong reputation. The staff on duty appeared disengaged - there was no greeting upon arrival, no inquiry about reservations, & minimal interaction with guests.
At one point, I noticed the front staff chatting & laughing among themselves while guests were entering & leaving, which gave an unprofessional impression. Upon leaving, I also observed staff seated at the front area eating while simultaneously being approached by clients.
For a restaurant of this caliber, the front desk is the first point of contact & plays a key role in setting the tone for the overall experience. A more attentive & polished approach would greatly enhance the guest experience.
That said, aside from this aspect, everything else was excellent & I've otherwise had great experiences here.

This was my second time at 40 Westt & it always has a nice ambiance, super service & consistent quality.

Our waiter Rashid was so friendly, impeccable & attentive. Our group was 6 people, we shared 6 appetizers. One of them was'Oyster Rockefeller'with 4 cooked oysters in one dish. Rashid was considerate to give us 6 in one dish. His service was making the whole experience even better.

The food was consistent in quality. The shrimps & cod were very fresh & the steaks were tender & juicy.

I highly recommend & will definitely be back again.

We went for a friend's birthday & had the table d'hôte menu. Everything was delicious, & the restaurant is such a beautiful spot. Even with a group of 30 people, the service was attentive & well organized. We had a great time!

Celebrated a special birthday 40 Westt & once again, it exceeded all expectations. Having dined here several times before, I'm continually impressed by the consistently high quality of the food-every dish is thoughtfully prepared & absolutely delicious.

What truly elevated this experience was the exceptional service from Ahmed. He was beyond accommodating, attentive without being intrusive, & genuinely committed to making our celebration feel special.

This establishment has long been a staple in the community, & it's easy to see why-it simply never disappoints.

Had the chance to enjoy a fancy lunch party with my colleagues at this amazing spot. Even though this is a late review due to the busy holiday season, my experience here was wonderful.

The food was absolutely delicious, & the staff were friendly, attentive, & very helpful. The atmosphere is elegant & perfect for special occasions.

I would definitely recommend this place to couples looking for a very fancy & romantic date.
Will surely come back again!
