Brian, le gérant, s'est également assuré que tout se passe bien pour nous & les tables voisines. Le cadre est également à coupé le souffle, la nourriture est de très bonne qualité. Je recommande sans hésitation
Exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly attentive & friendly, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. The highlight, of course, was the food. Every dish we ordered was a delightful blend of flavors & beautifully presented. I also appreciated the thoughtful beverage selection, including the creative cocktails. It's clear that a lot of care & expertise goes into every aspect of the dining experience. Yubari exceeded my expectations in every way. Highly recommend !!!

In short, we paid for 3 set menus but only got 2 incomplete menus that were delayed in service. While Yubari presents a promising array of Japanese cuisine, my recent visit during Grand Prix weekend left me with mixed feelings. The dishes, primarily Japanese fare, displayed culinary finesse & premium ingredients, but the portions served did not justify the price paid. Adding to the disappointment, the service failed to meet expectations, particularly evident in the delayed arrival of the sashimi platter, an essential element of any Japanese dining experience. Despite our patience, the platter arrived an hour & a half after being seated, & it only catered to two individuals despite our larger party. This logistical oversight necessitated repeated reminders about the missing items from the set menu to our server, disrupting the meal's flow & diminishing overall enjoyment. Furthermore, the fact that we had pre-paid for a set menu upon booking only added to our dissatisfaction. Despite the upfront payment, we felt we overpaid for the amount & quality of food provided. The delayed service of the sashimi platter, a key component of the set menu, further accentuated this sense of dissatisfaction.
Amazing experience at Yubari. The staff is friendly & attentive, ensuring every detail is perfect, & the food is simply outstanding. I highly recommend it!
Expérience inoubliable au Yubari ce soir, service hors pair, dès notre arrivée nous avons senti l'accueil chaleureux & nous avons été traité avec une attention soignée. Côté nourriture c'était parfait, les makis sont frais fait devant nous sur place & ça fait toute la différence. Les dumplings étaient succulents, quel délice! Nous avons hâte d'y retourner!
Came to Yubari for the first time this weekend with a group of friends. We were warmly welcomed by the staff. The decor & whole atmosphere, along with the live DJ was absolutely amazing. The food was fresh, refined & beautifully innovative. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience & service! We will most definitely be back soon!
Absolutely must-try! I dined at YUBARI last week, & it was an unforgettable experience. Opened just last March, this gem has quickly become a standout in the dining scene. The ambiance is elegant & welcoming, perfect for a special evening. The menu is a delightful blend of traditional & modern flavors, with every dish beautifully presented & bursting with taste. The sushi & sashimi were incredibly fresh, & the signature dishes left a lasting impression. Exceptional service & attention to detail made the evening even more enjoyable. Seems like it's hard to be impressed with a sushi place these days. But Yubari exceeded our expectations. Everything ordered for the table was delicious & mouthwatering. Salmon sashimi literally melted in the mouth, never have tried such salmon before. Maki had unique taste which is certainly different from many other places. The dessert was also very good, we took a chocolate one & it tasted like Ferrero Roche in a cake but even better. Definitely this will be my go to sushi/Japanese food place, though it's pricey. The only thing we didn't like that night was the service, waitresses were trying to take out plates even before we finished eating. That definitely was hasty & too much. Hope they'll change it given the place is still very new. But the ambience, music & food are enjoyable making you want to come back.

I visited Yubari for a lunch & it was sublime! First, the food is creative, tasty, crunchy & they're obviously using high quality ingredients. We had maki, dumplings, fried crab rice & chicken karage & all were excellent. & don't get me started on the incredible desserts. The service is incredibly attentive, quick & kind. I got the chance to speak to some of the staff & they know a lot about the food & are very pleasant. The best part is the setting & decor which transports you to a fancy Tokyo eatery with its velvet seats & wooden motifs. There's nothing like this is Montreal so save yourself the trip to Japan & go enjoy Yubari.
Had an amazing experience dining at Yubari. Both the food & the ambiance are incredible, & the servers were very attentive. All the ingredients were fresh & flavors were perfectly paired together. Sadly I don't live in Montreal otherwise I'd definitely revisit.

5 STARS by every measure. Beautiful space, perfect service, & as good or better that any sushi I've ever eaten, & that includes the US, Europe, & Japan. In addition to excellent traditional sushi, YUBARI offers original, delicious & inventive new versions of sushi I'll be returning often.
Yubari in Old Port Montreal is a culinary gem with a vibrant Miami-inspired vibe. The food is a masterpiece, beautifully presented & bursting with flavor. Their cocktails are expertly crafted, adding to the overall experience. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends, Yubari delivers. It's a must-visit spot that earns a solid 10/10 from me.
