Amazing service, food & ambiance. We went there for an important celebration, & we were treated with warmth, generosity & care. Free drinks & desserts were incredible, & a testament to the restaurant's thoughtfulness.
We were glad we created time, in our busy lives, & decided to come here. We will come back!
This Japanese restaurant offers an excellent dining experience overall. The food was outstanding - the lobster pasta was honestly one of the best I've ever had, the maki selection was delicious, & the drinks were equally impressive. The space itself is beautiful & creates a great atmosphere for a night out.
However, service felt slightly uneven during our visit. We were celebrating a birthday, & while expectations don't need to be extravagant, nothing was acknowledged or offered, which felt like a missed opportunity in a restaurant of this level.
Additionally, one of the manager appeared to focus most of their attention on what seemed to be VIP guests, spending a large portion of the evening conversing with one table at the bar next to our table & could only hear their conversation the whole time.
That said, the quality of the food & ambiance remain exceptional, & with more consistent attention to all guests, the overall experience could truly match the level of the cuisine.

the receptionist is extremely rude, she dropped my friends phone, she was giving us attitude while waiting for our table (for 45m) even with a rsvp. our waitress forgot about us multiple times (drinks & dessert) we had to remind her. besides that the food is good
The ambience & decor was stunning. The service was very attentive & unhurried. Our server (also the bartender) had great suggestions & the drinks were amazing
Food was presented beautifully & delicious - sashimi premium platter was second to none
Only minor criticism - duck fried rice was too salty.
I came here with my boyfriend for the second time after having a disappointing experience, & it was amazing, the service was great, we got treated well with hospitality by the hostess, the waitress, the runners & the manager. The whole team was supper great, after hearing about our first experience. The manager made sure that our second time at yubari was a night to remember, & he most certainly was right! The food was supper good, I definitely recommend the sushi experience.The new drink menu is 100 times better than the old one. We tried 4 different signature cocktails & every single cocktail was simply amazing & paired well with what we ate.
We are super glad we went back, & thanks to the amazing service, we will most definitely be back very soon !
Place vraiment médiocre & prix complètement exorbitant. Nous y étions pour la fête de deux amies. Réservation a 9h30, premièrement ca prix 30 minutes avoir seulement notre premier verre. Nous avons commandé la nourriture en même temps que les drinks, pour finalement avoir nos verres a 10h & manger a 10h30, 1h plus tard après avoir commandé. La serveuse a oublié ( oui oui, oublié) de demander la commande de nourriture à une des invités, donc nous avons tous nos plats & elle n'avait même pas prit sa commande, donc rien a manger. Nous avons du retourner un des sushis a cause qu'il avait un arrière goût atroce au point de même pas être capable d'avaler la bouchée. Les dumplings étaient pas assez cuit. D'ailleurs, je les ait commandé en meme temps que tout le monde & j'ai reçu mon assiette lorsque tout le monde avait fini de manger. Sushi que tu peux retrouver au sushi shop pour 4x moins chères. Nous devons courir après la serveuse constamment. Au point qu'il ont déposé le gâteau que nous avons apporté sur la table aucun ustensiles aucune assiette, rien pour le couper. Au bout de 15 minutes on s'est tanné & nous avons du nous lever de la table (parce que la serveuse venait a aucun moment) pour aller demander des outils pour couper & manger le gateau. Je déconseille à tous pour non seulement le service qui est inexistant lorsqu'on prend en considération le prix sans bon sens du menu, mais non seulement pour la qualité médiocre du poisson ainsi que de la cuisson des dumplings.

Incredible food & drinks, music was great, ambience was amazing i have nothing negative to say about this place. Probably the best discovery of the year. Ariel's service was impeccable, so sweet & caring of our time there. I'm impressed
Alexia was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, patient, & provided our group with exceptional service. The food was amazing, but Alexia really made the experience a 10/10, being sure to explain every dish & drink. Thank you for such an incredible experience. We will definitely be back when we visit Montreal again.
Amazing gem inside the St Paul hotel. Food was perfect for sharing, music was on point, & drinks were absolutely top notch. Lena & Pat were rock stars at the bar, with exceptional service. Instantly one of my go to places in Montreal!
Alexia was absolutely fantastic. She was attentive & going above & beyond given that our reservation was close to the kitchen closing. Her attitude made us want to come back when we visit Montreal again. She is an amazing waitress & person, making sure to make us satisfied with every single dish & drink, explaining drinks that were hard to understand.
Thank you Alexia, again for an incredibly memorable experience for my friend's birthday.

Last week, I had my networking event at Yubari which was exceptional. The guests, alongside myself, loved the food & were really pleased by the drinks & the service that the staff offered during our event.
The service during the night was perfect: super attentive, kind & quick. I was also very lucky to work with Tristan, the event manager, during the planning of the event who was super responsive during our email exchanges & was super helpful in making our event a success. Big thanks to Tristan & his team for making the night run so smoothly & ensuring everything was perfect from start to finish.
Nonetheless, my guests & I were super pleased with the food, the drinks, the ambiance, & the service we were given during the planning of the event, as well as during the event itself. I had so many guests throughout & after the night tell me how much they loved the venue, the food & the drinks. If you're planning an event, I highly recommend Yubari! Tristan & his team made the whole process so easy, & your guests will definitely be impressed by the whole experience!
Was a great experience! Food was amazing, great atmosphere perfect location & service impeccable! The only downside is a bit pricey especially the drinks. Went all out took the premium platter for two(was amazing, the quality of the fish A++++), & an appetizer plus three drinks & a bottle of sake(best sake I ever tasted, was so smooth like drinking water) cost me 400$+. Great place for special occasion.

We had such a great time at this restaurant! The drinks were absolutely top-notch - perfectly crafted & full of flavor. The food was just as impressive: fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. But what really made the evening stand out was Sarah's exceptional service. She was warm, attentive, & went above & beyond to make sure we had a fantastic experience. It's rare to find service this genuine & thoughtful - Sarah truly elevated our night. We'll definitely be back!
It's not easy to find a spot that nails both food & drinks but this place absolutely delivers. Everything on the menu sounded incredible but the hot makis were next level. & don't even get me started on the edamame coated in truffle with a creamy mayo sauce I seriously never want to eat edamame any other way again. The spicy gyoza was a 10 out of 10 & every dish just hit.
The dessert was bomb like truly the perfect way to wrap up an already amazing meal.
Beyond the incredible food & drinks the service truly stood out. Sarah was fantastic. She gave thoughtful recommendations had the best energy & made the entire experience even better. The vibe of the place is effortlessly chic & relaxed & honestly I just wish I lived closer because I'd be back all the time.
Sarah was a 10 out of 10 the vibes were immaculate thank you for making the night a whole experience.
A very chic & elegant restaurant in Old port Montreal! It features authentic Japanese cuisine with a twist of Asian & French influences & fresh ingredients flown in from Japan.
The prices for sushi ranges from 20$ to 170$. The place is not cheap. However, this pricing is justified by the exceptional quality of the ingredients used.
To drink, you'll find an excellent selection of signature cocktails with Asian influences & bold flavors.
It's an ideal place to visit for a gathering, business lunch/dinner or a date night!
