We had the chicken skewers, fried tofu, katsu curry, & sushi. Highly recommend this place for the best dinner in the village.
Nice warm decor & very nice food . Good break from the standard ski-village fare
While the flavor here was decent, the value is incredibly poor. Even taking into account that this is located within the Mont-Tremblant pedestrian village, the pricing & portioning are still ridiculous.
The ramen was okay, but the portion was tiny for what you pay-it came with only one thin slice of meat & very little broth in the bowl. It was far too expensive for such a small serving. However, the most baffling part was the Pork Katsu Curry. It was served without rice, which is like ordering a burger without a bun or pasta without the noodles. When I asked the server about it, I was told rice is an extra $5 for a small bowl.
As an Asian person who has eaten in Japan many times, I've never seen Katsu Curry served this way. Between the lack of broth in the ramen & being nickel-&-dimed for a basic staple like rice, the experience was frustrating. Authentic taste means nothing if the serving practices don't make sense. I wouldn't recommend this spot if you're looking for a satisfying or honest meal.
It's the best Japanese Isakaya in the village because it's the only Iskaya in the village. Everything we had, including the gyozas & maki's, were good but we've had way better in Montreal. The venue is hard to beat on a warm evening in St. Bernard Square, the place you want to be.
Very nice discovery in Tremblant ski village. The food was excellent & service was friendly & efficient. Really liked the dumplings!
So far my best experience in the village! We got the ramen & so gooood!
This place is by far the best restaurant in Mont Tremblant village & trust me I've had a lot of them already. Everything is freshly made & incredibly delicious. I'm surprised by the great service & the quality food with such good deal!! It's located at a less busier road so you might miss it if you go around the stage. Highly recommend it & I'll do all my meals here in my next visit.
Without a question the best food in the village. Surprised by the quality of the nigiri. Don't miss this spot if you're in town.
It's not like the village has a lot of great places to eat. This is easily the best & would be the best in most major cities. Atmosphere, staff, & quality of food. For $100+ I had Edamame, Gyoza, a drink, two rolls, & dessert. That is beyond fair price for the quality of what you get here. If you need a night to a really excellent place, this is it. I've eaten a lot of Sushi in NYC & this easily is in my Top 5.
This place is incredible! The staff is incredibly friendly & the food is absolutely delicious. Not only that, but considering the price, it beats out more than half of the other spots in the village. Although it may be a bit on the pricier side, that seems to be the norm for restaurants in Mont-Tremblant. & to top it off, they have a lovely terrace that is perfect for enjoying sunny weekends.
Tremblant village needs places like this!! All the huge restaurants on the hill can be busy & all about turnover. Yama-No-Kami has a beautiful intimate atmosphere with very knowledgeable & welcoming staff, like Guillaume! The food is incredible! Would highly recommend the dumplings, which come with a phenomenal peanut sauce, the torched waygu sashimi & the Japanese mint tempura. Will be back as soon as possible!
Awesome spot in the village! Service was amazing, the Ambiance & tunes were great & the food was incredible! The servers taking care of us were really good & we will definitely be coming back in the future. 10/10 recommend
