Had a lovely dinner here on our second night of vacation. While I have high expectations for sushi coming from the immense NYC options, I was pleasantly surprised when each dish that was served was not only plated to perfection but tasted like a NYC top-quality sushi restaurant. While I do have some reservations about the sushi rice, which was a bit over cooked, the quality & flavor of the fish outdid any lacking there.
In addition & perhaps most importantly, the service was impeccable & the entire staff was extremely professional & made sure we were satisfied the whole way through. William, our waiter, was classy & sweet & offered us smiles & laughs at just the right moments.
Nothing gets me as excited as a quality sushi-surprise!View more
Tiny high quality restaurant. Very good sushi. Cocktails were on the pricey side but the food was delicious especially the sushi. Very fresh.View more
Good service but unfortunately the ramen came luke warm & sushi rice was stale & hard. Quite pricey for poor quality in foodView more
This is a smaller restaurant in the resort that serves Japanese cuisine. They were willing to accommodate my large group of 14 which was super nice of them. The food however was ok. The portions were kind of small imo & overall food quality & taste was also ok. The ramen was great for after ski. The rice for my salmon roll was pretty dry & the curry order didn't come with rice at all just a small plate of curry which didn't really feel like a main dish. The other more special rolls were pretty good so were there other apps like the takoyaki & gyoza. Overall not bad but i'll take a peek at other restaurants on the resort before opting for this one.View more
This restaurant is a tourist trap…it looks cool, but the food is low quality & poorly executed. The miso soup was "fine", & it turned out to be the high point of the meal. We had a rainbow roll that tasted like supermarket sushi. The pork gyoza looked nice, but tasted bland & uninspired. Kani traditional udon noodles was a bowl of dry linguini, covered by a thin layer of Rice Krispies, & seasoned with a discordant mix of ginger / garlic & heavy crab meat…this was a memorably unique & unpleasant dish. At $120 for 2 people, it's best to visit the many wonderful Quebecois restaurants within a 20 minute drive.View more
The waiters were nice but ... Very slow service, some main dishes came out 45 minutes apart & of course it would have to be the two children's dishes... the overpricing was expected but not the mediocre quality. The miso soup was nice (took about an hour to prepare so it should be!) Avoid if possibleView more
This place is by far the best restaurant in Mont Tremblant village & trust me I've had a lot of them already. Everything is freshly made & incredibly delicious. I'm surprised by the great service & the quality food with such good deal!! It's located at a less busier road so you might miss it if you go around the stage. Highly recommend it & I'll do all my meals here in my next visit.View more
Mediocre food quality. Very far from japanese flavor.View more
Without a question the best food in the village. Surprised by the quality of the nigiri. Don't miss this spot if you're in town.View more
It's not like the village has a lot of great places to eat. This is easily the best & would be the best in most major cities. Atmosphere, staff, & quality of food. For $100+ I had Edamame, Gyoza, a drink, two rolls, & dessert. That is beyond fair price for the quality of what you get here. If you need a night to a really excellent place, this is it. I've eaten a lot of Sushi in NYC & this easily is in my Top 5.View more
Great service for starters, nice ambience music & decoration. Sushi quality out of this world ! Totally recommend.View more
The food quality is not bad but the portion is just ridiculously small given the price they are charging you. Unless you want to pay at least $50 per person & leaving the restaurant with your stomach half-full , otherwise, avoid coming here.
&, it’s not an authentic Japanese restaurant.View more
