Very friendly waiter, & the best sushi you can find it town. They had lot fresh fish delivered that day, so we were happy :)
Had a good bottle of sake as wellView more
We were a group of 13 (7 adults, 6 kids) & the whole experience was absolutely delightful! Jordan was a fantastic server & took care of everyone with such joy. He made the experience as enjoyable as possible. & the food was delicious, from the edamame to the gyoza to the ramen to the large platters of sushi. Highly recommend!View more
Dans les bonnes places de sushi! Jordan & Océanne ont été super & nous ont très bien servis! Je recommande!View more
One of our favourites in Tremblant!! We keep coming back 3-4 times a year! The food is delicious, every time we go we try something new & it's always amazing! Even our kids (11-13) love it! From the appetizers to the Gyizas & sushi, & let's not forget the luscious Ramen soup they serve in the wintertime, everything is DE-LISH! & the price is very fair, considering the location!
Only downside, on our two last visits, we were greeted by a very very unfriendly waiter with black glasses. Rude & not welcoming, he really is a clash, misplaced staff member within such a beautiful team & charming location. He was rude on the phone & worse in person. We almost left. It saddens me to remove stars but I think the owners need to acknowledge it as it really affects the whole experience. Coup de coeur for the French waitress, a real Gem! (Both were working on March 20th at night).View more
Had a lovely dinner here on our second night of vacation. While I have high expectations for sushi coming from the immense NYC options, I was pleasantly surprised when each dish that was served was not only plated to perfection but tasted like a NYC top-quality sushi restaurant. While I do have some reservations about the sushi rice, which was a bit over cooked, the quality & flavor of the fish outdid any lacking there.
In addition & perhaps most importantly, the service was impeccable & the entire staff was extremely professional & made sure we were satisfied the whole way through. William, our waiter, was classy & sweet & offered us smiles & laughs at just the right moments.
Nothing gets me as excited as a quality sushi-surprise!View more
Everything is off in this place except for the wall decor which I liked a lot. We got hot green tea, & it was just warm. We had edamame, & they tasted like leftovers from a couple of days earlier. All plates were chipped while they had A5 wagyu on the menu. The rice in sushi was undercooked. The list continues…View more
Tiny high quality restaurant. Very good sushi. Cocktails were on the pricey side but the food was delicious especially the sushi. Very fresh.View more
Not a bad, pretty average sushi restaurant. Rhe food definitely changed towards average from when it used to be Samurai Sushi. Nigiri was fresh, fish was super soft & fresh. Service was great. Food, overall is ok to satisfy a Japanese craving when on the mountain.View more
Excelente! Muito atenciosos com as crianças. Sushi um pouco grande para crianças.View more
Good service but unfortunately the ramen came luke warm & sushi rice was stale & hard. Quite pricey for poor quality in foodView more
This restaurant is a tourist trap…it looks cool, but the food is low quality & poorly executed. The miso soup was "fine", & it turned out to be the high point of the meal. We had a rainbow roll that tasted like supermarket sushi. The pork gyoza looked nice, but tasted bland & uninspired. Kani traditional udon noodles was a bowl of dry linguini, covered by a thin layer of Rice Krispies, & seasoned with a discordant mix of ginger / garlic & heavy crab meat…this was a memorably unique & unpleasant dish. At $120 for 2 people, it's best to visit the many wonderful Quebecois restaurants within a 20 minute drive.View more
We had an amazing night at Yama. The food was delicious & the service was amazing. Great small plates to share followed by sushi rolls. Jordan, our server, knew the menu well & tailored the meal to us, making the experience even better. He picked a great sake for us as well! Thank you; Jordan! Looking forward to coming back.View more
Great sushi everything is fresh can't wait to go againView more
View more
Ok, the weather was sunny warm & basically perfect. We sat outside & there was plenty of shade. The staff were pleasant & helpful & very attentive. The veggie tempura was tasty but the batter was a bit soft & thick. I like a thin & crunchy tempura. The asparagus was nice & al dente & the other veg were nicely cooked with a good chew. I ate it all so that's a plus. The glass noodle salad was really good, can't remember the exact name though. Beer was good. Definitely worth a try again for the sushi.View more
great place for white people, 2 stalks of asparagus in one roll of sushi truly incredibleView more
The food was below average, the noodles tasted like ketchup. We ordered some starters & sushi rolls for the main dish, after 30 minutes of wait the waiter told us there was more rice & they couldn't complete our order....This was our first & last timeView more
So glad we decided to try this place. My cocktail was the best cocktail i have ever had. I could taste the fresh grapefruit & vanilla, & the sake. SO satisfying. My tuna sushi had excellent flavor & texture. The tofu burger was recommended by our waiter & I would have never ordered it otherwise but it was delicious. Also loved the miso soup! Wonderful dining experience & I will probably continue to dream of this food.View more
had a very nice lunch here today. Sushi was excellent! Jordan our service was awesome too!View more
It's not like the village has a lot of great places to eat. This is easily the best & would be the best in most major cities. Atmosphere, staff, & quality of food. For $100+ I had Edamame, Gyoza, a drink, two rolls, & dessert. That is beyond fair price for the quality of what you get here. If you need a night to a really excellent place, this is it. I've eaten a lot of Sushi in NYC & this easily is in my Top 5.View more
We are sushi lovers & the sushi here was fantastic! The only thing better than the sushi was the service. Our waitress Victoria was phenomenal. Very unexpected in a tourist place.View more
Maybe I should've expected sushi at a ski resort wasn't going to be as good or plentiful as local eats in my own area. Rolls were ok, omurice not very tasty, yaki soba ok, miso good. Atmosphere pretty cool & service was good.View more
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this place, & the experience was truly exceptional. The ambiance was inviting, the service impeccable, & the food exceeded all expectations. From fresh sushi to flavorful ramen, each dish showcased the skill & dedication of the chefs. I left with a satisfied palate & a newfound appreciation for Japanese cuisine. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic & delightful dining experience.View more
Great service for starters, nice ambience music & decoration. Sushi quality out of this world ! Totally recommend.View more
I am so glad my husband & I stumbled upon this restaurant on our quick trip to Mont-Tremblant today. The food & service was absolutely amazing! The inside decor was also super cute & modern.
We ordered the miso soup, tempura plate, tofu & carrot guoza, Ebi Chili, & the Vegetarien roll. I couldn’t believe how much flavor they were able to pack in each dish, even the miso soup wowed me. The ebi chili was probably my favorite dish of the day, as it was so unique & full of flavor. Also the vegetarien roll may have been the best vegetarian sushi I’ve ever tried (& I’ve tried a lot). The gyoza was also amazing & had perfect crunch. All the food, especially the shrimp taste fresh & cooked to perfection. I highly recommend stopping by this restaurant! We will definitely be back!View more
Le service est excellent & les sushis sont super bonView more
We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we went for the 3 nights straight that we stayed in Mont-Tremblant. Maelle was especially attentive to our needs & is just a great person. All the staff were very kind to us & treated us with great respect. The food is very good & authentic. If they had been open for lunch, we probably would have gone also. We loved the gyoza, the Hiyashi chuka dish & the sushi. Also enjoyed the omurice dish. Can highly recommend this restaurant & it is a must visit when in Mont-Tremblant. Oh, I almost forgot about the desserts! Strawberry short cake & panna cotta with matcha were incredible!View more
Ce restaurant de sushi est bien meilleur que celui qui a fermé ses portes il y a 4 ans, je pense. Cet endroit est bien meilleur, les sushis sont super frais & c'est aussi le seul endroit pour manger des sushis dans le village !View more
My family & I decided to go here because we heard that it was fantastic & a great experience!
The food was delicious!
Sushis: I got to be honest, I was pleasantly surprised by this! It was fresh & I saw this go quickly!
Takoyakis: it was pretty good! I had to compare this with Noren (I will write a review of this fantastic & it felt like eating in Tokyo) & it was a good choice!
Tempura plate: lightly breaded, nice crisp & well cooked! I definitely think that it was worth it!
Gyoza: It’s good! Nice balance of ingredients between pork & green onions.
Mapodofu: definitely think that it had the right amount of heat! For spicy fans, give this a try!
Omurice: a pleasant surprise! Simple presentation!
Atmosphere: We came here during the day & it was nice! The environment screams “go here at night! ”
I definitely recommend this place! It’s a nice addition to a Mont-Tremblant that I know so well since I was a small child!View more
