It's more like western Japanese style, I like authentic Japanese style, so won't go there again. If you still wanna go, tempura was fine.View more
The atmosphere & service were good, though the food was just okay. While the taste was good & the presentation was certainly nice, there were some things that could use improvement. For instance, the tempura was not as crispy as normal, so it may have been able to be cooked for longer to achieve the desired level for crispiness. The smoked salmon roll & miso soup were excellent though, & I would definitely get those things again.View more
Ok, the weather was sunny warm & basically perfect. We sat outside & there was plenty of shade. The staff were pleasant & helpful & very attentive. The veggie tempura was tasty but the batter was a bit soft & thick. I like a thin & crunchy tempura. The asparagus was nice & al dente & the other veg were nicely cooked with a good chew. I ate it all so that's a plus. The glass noodle salad was really good, can't remember the exact name though. Beer was good. Definitely worth a try again for the sushi.View more
Best thing about what we had was the tempura. The salmon in the bento did not taste rhe best to me. We did ask if they'd make something for a toddler to have like fried potato. They were quite rude about us getting poutine for my child from elsewhere. Although they allowed us later to have it for him, but had they not, I would have walked out. Was bit of a bad buzz for us. We have been to Tremblant in multiple occasions & so far this was the only place who has done this.View more
Too bad the ramen was only available during winter. But nonetheless, the ambiance & food were good. I love the tempura plate. I am sure the other food on the menu were great too.View more
Had a good experience with my wife. She ordered gin drink (recommended by the waiter), it was refreshing. We started with the tempura & our main ramen & a Maki roll. The tempura was fresh & very crispy, ramen was decent, the Maki roll ain't the best. But overall we had a great time.View more
I am so glad my husband & I stumbled upon this restaurant on our quick trip to Mont-Tremblant today. The food & service was absolutely amazing! The inside decor was also super cute & modern.
We ordered the miso soup, tempura plate, tofu & carrot guoza, Ebi Chili, & the Vegetarien roll. I couldn’t believe how much flavor they were able to pack in each dish, even the miso soup wowed me. The ebi chili was probably my favorite dish of the day, as it was so unique & full of flavor. Also the vegetarien roll may have been the best vegetarian sushi I’ve ever tried (& I’ve tried a lot). The gyoza was also amazing & had perfect crunch. All the food, especially the shrimp taste fresh & cooked to perfection. I highly recommend stopping by this restaurant! We will definitely be back!View more
Tremblant village needs places like this!! All the huge restaurants on the hill can be busy & all about turnover. Yama-No-Kami has a beautiful intimate atmosphere with very knowledgeable & welcoming staff, like Guillaume! The food is incredible! Would highly recommend the dumplings, which come with a phenomenal peanut sauce, the torched waygu sashimi & the Japanese mint tempura. Will be back as soon as possible!View more
My family & I decided to go here because we heard that it was fantastic & a great experience!
The food was delicious!
Sushis: I got to be honest, I was pleasantly surprised by this! It was fresh & I saw this go quickly!
Takoyakis: it was pretty good! I had to compare this with Noren (I will write a review of this fantastic & it felt like eating in Tokyo) & it was a good choice!
Tempura plate: lightly breaded, nice crisp & well cooked! I definitely think that it was worth it!
Gyoza: It’s good! Nice balance of ingredients between pork & green onions.
Mapodofu: definitely think that it had the right amount of heat! For spicy fans, give this a try!
Omurice: a pleasant surprise! Simple presentation!
Atmosphere: We came here during the day & it was nice! The environment screams “go here at night! ”
I definitely recommend this place! It’s a nice addition to a Mont-Tremblant that I know so well since I was a small child!View more
