Welldun is the real deal!!
I made a slice sampler & loved it!! I tasted three different styles: Sicilian, Chicago-style, & New York-style. Each one had its own personality, but all three delivered on flavour.
The ingredients tasted fresh, the sauce was excellent, & the crusts were the highlight...from the thicker, hearty Sicilian-style bite, to the rich Chicago-style slice, to the classic New York-style crust.
My only negative feedback: the front counter felt a bit disorganized, with one cashier & a long line. Tighten that up, & this place is a 5-star all day, a Montreal pizza gem.
Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back.

The pizzas taste good. The service is so-so. The most disappointing, recent experiences were June,'26, two days apart, two very unfortunate experiences. For the first time, I bought a large pizza, as opposed to the slices I usually get. I wanted to impress my family about their amazing pizzas but it turned out to be a huge disappointment, twice in the same week. I purchased the most expensive pizza on the menu (45$ plus tx)! Long story short, it was not worth it; it didn't taste good at all & did not represent their reputation whatsoever. Two days later, I decided to give them another chance, thinking maybe, something went wrong with the ingredients. Therefore, I decided to buy several slices, as opposed to one flavour since it was my sibling's birthday & he loves pizza. It costs more but, I thought it may be worth it (& it was, but that wasn't the issue). I wanted to speak with the owner to discuss the first issue of why that pizza was so terrible, what could be done about it &, I also wanted his approval to buy a large pizza, with different flavours, as opposed to the slices. I saw he was busy helping out his staff making pizza. I asked him if he was the owner & he looked straight at me & said,''NO''!!! Then turned his back on me. I'm thinking WTF!!! I knew he was the owner. Then I suddenly, doubted that so, I asked his employee,''who is the owner here''? My jaw dropped when he pointed to the guy who bluntly replied,''NO''. I said, you mean this guy, he's the owner'? He reassured me he was. That is my complaint. I spent over 100$ in two days, excluding the other times I kept going there. That stupid, egotistical, owner should have just replied he was busy, can't talk now & just take my telephone number when he had a few minutes to spare. I was not going to demand my money back for the terrible tasting 45$ pizza, I wanted to know what happened, why it tasted so bad that maybe there's been a mistake & to make a special order for my guests (birthday party). I was not planning to rip him off, I figured, since it is a big order, I was hoping he would allow me to just have several flavours in one big portion. I don't feel like going back due to my strong principles but man, am I glad for this post. He doesn't deserve my money. I am a former business owner &, that is no way to treat your clients. This guy is a jerk & should go back to his province. A-holes are not welcome in Quebec. I traveled an hour & a half with a huge box of pizza under my arm which flew open a few times, & a sour taste in my mouth from dealing with that guy. He may be blessed with making a lot of money but, completely shameful for his lack of respect toward his clients. As for the very loud music, it is a tactic so clients don't stay, it's meant to just eat & go. If you don't want your cliencts hanging around, remove your tables & chairs. It's annoying standing in line for 30 minutes with the music blasting in your ear. Shame on you for your lack of respect, lack of morals, & lack of business ethics.
I I'm not usually a fan of thick-crust pizza, but this one was exceptional. Although the Detroit-style pizza was sold out when I spoke with the cashier, the Sicilienne pizzas more than made up for it-they were all excellent. I also recommend visiting with friends, as ordering a whole pizza offers better value than buying individual slices.
Overall, this is one of the best pizza parlors in Montreal. Thank you!
We consider ourselves pizza connoisseurs & we have ALL of the top pizza places in Montreal, & I can say that this is my favorite. Why? Because not only has great quality, fresh pizza slices but also the energy is always good & because there are some many clients constantly, the slices are always fresh!
Beat pizza I've ever had (haven't tasted any pizza in NYC that matched welldun) if you want Boston style pizza or just slices this is the place to go
Good pizza not mind blowing one slice will fill you up. The pepperoni ny slice is a bit too salty for me, id try to go for the magherita
I visited Welldun Pizza during the week & really enjoyed my experience. The place has a nice setup, the staff was welcoming & attentive, & there's a great selection of pizza by the slice, including square pizzas. The two pizzas I tried were flavorful & delicious. Great pizza spot overall. I highly recommended if you're passing through the area.
Very well done pizza,(pun intended lol) perfectly crispy yet soft on top crust, perfectly cooked. I love that they do different styles & do sell by the slice. Normally priced, I don't find it expensive especially compared to the quality they deliver. Awesome, frequent stop whenever we crave pizza.
Pulled up to Welldun Pizza on a total last?minute whim today.
Only two options left: Margherita & vodka bacon deep pan.
Sometimes the universe chooses for you.
The line was long but moving, & pizzas were coming out hot - just not fast enough for me to grab the mushroom slice I was dreaming about.
But that vodka bacon? Unreal. You can actually taste the vodka, & it hits perfectly with the sauce, the bacon, & that crispy cheese crust.
Meanwhile my kids demolished the Margherita like they hadn't eaten in days.
Mushroom slice… I'm coming back for you.
It can be hard to find much else other than your typical'2 pour 1' pizza spots in Quebec or pizza that really stands out & is unique. Welldun Pizza does just that, offering three styles that you typically don't find in Quebec: Detroit, New York, & Grandma.
If your a sucker for crispy cheese, like I am, the Detroit is a must try. The textures of this pizza are one of the things that sets it apart; crispy cheese edges, chewy soft dough in the middle & then gooey cheesy on top, & then the charred pepperoni. It's as masterpiece.
The location is quite small but the line moves quick. They were out of the Detroit style Vodka Pep I wanted to try when I arrived but by the time it was my turn to order a fresh pie had just come out of their oven.
You can order by the slice or a whole pie & while it is slightly pricey for pizza, the flavors & textures are worth it.
