Let me start with the service - outstanding. Really one of the best experiences I've had. Our waiter was super kind, patient, professional & made us feel very welcome. The food is really good. In my opinion it is not "fine dining" but nonetheless excellent! The pasta was a very nice dish, well balanced, creative & nicely plated. The fish was good. Basic. Desserts are good. Overall good experience.
Blown away by the service here. All servers were so kind, polite, & accommodating without being overbearing. The cocktails were on point & the food was excellent & unique, highlighting seasonal quebecois produce. I'm still thinking about the mango jasmine cake we had for dessert. Would love to come back again when I'm in town & would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely dining experience.

We've been to Tuck Shop a handful of times now. I never walk into a restaurant expecting to be disappointed, but the old addage goes "nobody bats a thousand". Tuck Shop. Tuck Shop bats a thousand. This time around we started with the Quebec snow crab legs, followed by the duck breast & the lobster pasta. The crab was sweet, & able to speak for itself. They got out of the way, took the deshelling difficulty with them, & let the flavour shine (with flavoured mayo & cocktail sauce on the side, should one want to dabble). The lobster pasta was perfectly cooked, & not over salted - something I have experienced with so many lobster pasta dishes in the past, that I figured that's just how the world worked. The duck breast dish was the star of the show for me. My amateur words cannot give the flavour its dues. The Dion Waiters award goes to the celery root puree that put up big numbers in a limited game time. Dessert was the olive cake (with rhubarb & vanilla ice cream), & a peach frozen yogurt sandwich. Strong contenders, but still unable to dethrone the homemade apple pie we had on our first visit as my Tuck Shop dessert GOAT. The service was quick, & ever-friendly - a staple of any visit to Tuck Shop. The recommended wine pairings for our mains were right on the money. (Disclaimer: we are far from sommeliers or wine connoisseurs.) We are already looking forward to our next Tuck Shop adventure.
This place lived up to its expectations! Not only was the food incredible, but they did the little things such as making sure our water glasses were full, clearing the plates & cleaning the table promptly. The main courses were spot on & you could taste the flavors in every bite. We tried items that we normally would not & we were overwhelmingly surprised at how well it was cooked & the seasoning. Oh & the dessert, was some of the best we have had. We will definitely come back & can't wait to see what new items they have on the menu.
The food is tasty & well presented but perhaps the portions are a bit small for a man. The focaccia is regular Italian type of bread, not worth the 10$. The 3 desserts were delicious. Should take out a table to create a bit more space along the wall, feels too crowded
We were 5 women- shared 5 appetizers & 3 mains & 1 dessert - our bellies were very satisfied. Delicious! Service, ambiance & food all excellent. This was not my first visit, but for the rest, it was their first time & they definitely want to go back. The staff even folds your serviette when you get up to go to the restroom! That added touch is much appreciated.
We’ve been to Tuck Shop a few times & the food is always top notch! This most recent time we went to celebrate our anniversary, & I had indicated that when I made the reservation. Every staff member congratulated us & mentioned it, they even brought our dessert out with a candle to celebrate! Our waiter Gabriel went above & beyond throughout the night, he was friendly & helpful with recommendations! This place is a must try for the delicious food & the amazing staff!
