Tuck Shop absolutely lived up to the hype. Every plate that came to the table showcased incredibly fresh, thoughtfully sourced ingredients prepared with the kind of technique that elevates familiar flavors into something memorable. The menu strikes a perfect balance between creativity & restraint nothing feels overcomplicated, just exceptionally well executed.
What impressed us just as much as the food was the service. The entire team was attentive without ever being intrusive, anticipating needs before we had to ask while still giving us plenty of space to enjoy the evening. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely warm, knowledgeable, & welcoming, making the experience feel relaxed rather than formal. An absolute pleasure

Montreal has no shortage of excellent restaurants, but Tuck Shop stands out by excelling in every category: outstanding food, flawless execution, & hospitality that makes you want to come back. This was one of the highlights of our trip, & it's a place I'll enthusiastically recommend to anyone visiting the city. An easy five stars!!
This was my second time dining at Tuck Shop, & once again they did not disappoint! The food quality is outstanding..everything tasted fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. You can really tell they care about the ingredients & every detail that goes into each dish.
The service was just as impressive. The staff was warm, attentive, & made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in.
Even my 7-year-old son absolutely loved his meal & the staff, which says a lot about their good vibes! It's not always easy finding a restaurant that both adults & kids genuinely enjoy, but Tuck Shop delivered.

I have been coming to Tuck Shop for a few months now & it is consistently excellent. The atmosphere is warm & inviting without being pretentious, which is a rare find these days. The staff really knows their menu well & offered some great suggestions that I would not have thought to try on my own. Everything was fresh & prepared with genuine care. It is clearly a spot where the owners put a lot of heart into what they do. I will definitely be bringing my friends back here next time they are in town.

Solid choice if you are looking for somewhere reliable to grab a bite. The staff is very friendly & efficient, which is appreciated during the lunch rush. I have tried a few different things here & have never been disappointed by the taste or the freshness of the meal. The space is kept very clean & has a nice minimalist aesthetic that makes it comfortable to stay for a while. It is rare to find a place that maintains such high standards across the board. I will certainly be returning soon.
Tuck Shop is as close to perfection as you can get! This has been a regular spot for my wife & I for over 15 years. Each time is better than the last. The service is phenomenal, the food is diverse, fresh & incredible. We arrived early for our reservation & the staff set up a small table outside for us to enjoy a drink while we waited which made the evening even more special. Marco & the entire team was lovely & I can't wait to go back again.
Everything was good, but oysters were prob the star of the show for me. The oysters tgemselves so fresh & tasty, the vinegar w pepper, the HOUSEMADE HOT SAUCE 🤯best i ever had i cannot believe they dont sell it.

Volume is prettyvloud at peak hours but manageable, maybe not the best for a first date spot in that regard.
We'd give it a 4.5 but this rating system doesn't allow for that. Tuck Shop was great. The service was amazing. We literally tried every appetizer, entree & dessert & everythwas delicious. It's a seasonal menu that seems to change every so often & everything was very fresh. We also loved the ambiance. While we requested the main dining room, we were out in the chalet section which was actually great & quieter than the other room. We'll be back!
Amazing food with really great service! Portions were really good & the prices were very reasonable. All the ingredients tasted fresh & the sauces were really great!
Fresh local ingredients presented with a delightful twist by the chef. Always seasonal & fresh. The local fried mushrooms with ranch sauce were excellent as was the Gaspe tuna as appetizers. Fish & steak for mains were prepared perfectly.
This is a small, very chic spot with incredible food. They were able to accommodate our 10 person party for an event & made it so fun, special & memorable. They were exceedingly accommodating of dietary restrictions & our vegetarians got food just as fresh & exciting as everyone else's! Would go back here again & again. Special shout out to Gabriel for keeping us laughing (& taking the joking around as well as he dished it!)
