Every plate that came to the table showcased incredibly fresh, thoughtfully sourced ingredients prepared with the kind of technique that elevates familiar flavors into something memorable. The menu strikes a perfect balance between creativity & restraint nothing feels overcomplicated, just exceptionally well executed.
What impressed us just as much as the food was the service. The entire team was attentive without ever being intrusive, anticipating needs before we had to ask while still giving us plenty of space to enjoy the evening. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely warm, knowledgeable, & welcoming, making the experience feel relaxed rather than formal. An absolute pleasure

Montreal has no shortage of excellent restaurants, but Tuck Shop stands out by excelling in every category: outstanding food, flawless execution, & hospitality that makes you want to come back. This was one of the highlights of our trip, & it's a place I'll enthusiastically recommend to anyone visiting the city. An easy five stars!!
This was my second time dining at Tuck Shop, & once again they did not disappoint! The food quality is outstanding..everything tasted fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. You can really tell they care about the ingredients & every detail that goes into each dish.
The service was just as impressive. The staff was warm, attentive, & made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in.
Even my 7-year-old son absolutely loved his meal & the staff, which says a lot about their good vibes! It's not always easy finding a restaurant that both adults & kids genuinely enjoy, but Tuck Shop delivered.
Definitely one of those places I'll keep coming back to. Highly recommend! 👏🏾🍽?

The food & service here easily earned 5 stars. This was by far one of the best customer service experiences we have encountered. They went completely above & beyond by setting up a TV on the back patio just so we & the other patrons could watch the Canediens vs. Hurricanes (NHL) final. The owner & staff watch it with us, making our Montreal trip unforgettable!! We will definitely be back
Places excessivement serrées au bar & tres chaud. Les huîtres étaient bien, mais j'étais déçu par le porterhouse (175$ pour 2). L'assiette d'asperge était bien. C'était également très bruyant à l'intérieur.
We had the most incredible evening at tuck shop. Get the chefs table if you can, it was so great watching the chefs do their thing. Shout out to Ty & Marco, they both made the evening.
Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The service was attentive without being overbearing & the food arrived promptly despite the place being quite busy on a Friday night. You can tell they pay attention to the details here, from the presentation of the dishes to the background music selection. It is a fantastic neighborhood staple that feels like a hidden gem. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a reliable & high quality dining experience. It is easily one of my favorite local spots.
