Every plate that came to the table showcased incredibly fresh, thoughtfully sourced ingredients prepared with the kind of technique that elevates familiar flavors into something memorable. The menu strikes a perfect balance between creativity & restraint nothing feels overcomplicated, just exceptionally well executed.
What impressed us just as much as the food was the service. The entire team was attentive without ever being intrusive, anticipating needs before we had to ask while still giving us plenty of space to enjoy the evening. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely warm, knowledgeable, & welcoming, making the experience feel relaxed rather than formal. An absolute pleasure

Montreal has no shortage of excellent restaurants, but Tuck Shop stands out by excelling in every category: outstanding food, flawless execution, & hospitality that makes you want to come back. This was one of the highlights of our trip, & it's a place I'll enthusiastically recommend to anyone visiting the city. An easy five stars!!
This was my second time dining at Tuck Shop, & once again they did not disappoint! The food quality is outstanding..everything tasted fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. You can really tell they care about the ingredients & every detail that goes into each dish.
The service was just as impressive. The staff was warm, attentive, & made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in.
Even my 7-year-old son absolutely loved his meal & the staff, which says a lot about their good vibes! It's not always easy finding a restaurant that both adults & kids genuinely enjoy, but Tuck Shop delivered.

Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The service was attentive without being overbearing & the food arrived promptly despite the place being quite busy on a Friday night. You can tell they pay attention to the details here, from the presentation of the dishes to the background music selection. It is a fantastic neighborhood staple that feels like a hidden gem. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a reliable & high quality dining experience. It is easily one of my favorite local spots.

One of the best dining experiences we've had in Montreal in a very long time !! Food was on point & the service was excellent. Ask for Marilie, she is a gem, had great recommendations & tips, the wine she recommended went perfectly with our meal & she has a great sense of humor!!
Marco is super kind & accommodated us on the terrasse despite being fully booked. In a series of disappointing dining experiences in the last year (mostly due to service), yesterday reinstated my hope in great restaurants & service ! Will definitely be back, thank you !!
I had an excellent experience at Tuk Shop. I was in town & was recommended to come here. Very glad I did! Jonathan the owner & Adam the bartender immediately made me feel welcomed. The food was phenomenal & I got to watch the hockey afterward in a cozy back area. This was a memorable evening!
Une pépite à découvrir ! Mes fils m'ont invitée pour la fête des mères & tout était parfait. Le personnel est incroyablement accueillant & chaleureux. La nourriture était succulente, avec des produits frais. De plus, le restaurant était impeccable, d'une propreté irréprochable, ce qui est très appréciable. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter, je recommande vivement! Un grand merci pour le propriétaire & pour son équipe!!
Everything was good, but oysters were prob the star of the show for me. The oysters tgemselves so fresh & tasty, the vinegar w pepper, the HOUSEMADE HOT SAUCE 🤯best i ever had i cannot believe they dont sell it.

Volume is prettyvloud at peak hours but manageable, maybe not the best for a first date spot in that regard.
A great culinary experience! Our waiter was super fun & made this experience even better. We were in the backroom & it allows you to have a more intimate & cozy meal. The food was amazing & every dish was made to perfection. The portions were perfect. Highly recommend the chocolate espresso cake for dessert! It finishes the meal perfectly. Will be back!

This was my first visit & I was extremely impressed. Came out for dinner with my wife. The staff was extremely nice, polite , professional & efficient. The food was unbelievable. I don't usually rave about a place but everything we had was delicious. From the brioche bread. The oysters, tuna crudo & the beet salad as appetizers. Main dish was the duck & the bolognese pasta was incredible. Definitely recommend! My compliments to the chefs & the staff. Keep up the great work !
