But I noticed recently that the broth tasted different & the pork slices changed like they substituted it with bacon. Its still good but im kind of disappointed.
As someone who just got back from Japan, I have to say this was quite lovely. Took the tonkotsu ramen & it was very tasty, broth was rich but not overly fatty, porc was wonderful. Only negative side is getting a plastic spoon, it should not be a thing.
Great ramen option at Royalmount. Tried the Kara ramen, it has just the right amount of spicy. The presentation & the taste are both great. Could use a little more pork for the price but overall a solid option.
Aujourd'hui, avec toute cette neige & ce vent glacé, j'avais vraiment froid… mais un bol bien épicé & fumant de ramen Kara m'a réchauffé le coeur autant que le ventre !
C'est tout aussi bon que les ramens que je mangeais autrefois au Japon
& avec une petite bière commandée au bar du food court, c'était tout simplement le combo parfait !
La prochaine fois, je tenterai le ramen Sio.

Ramen Paitan was absolutely delicious. Taste was very rich! Definitely will be back!
Paying premium Ramen prices for what felt like some bougie instant noodles. Prices are about the same as Sansotei Ramen (which is just a 2 minute walk from here) but the quality is much worse. If you are looking to get ramen, definitely skip this place & go to Sansotei Ramen. They will not disappoint like Tori Ramen does.
I tried the Tori Paitan ramen & really enjoyed it! The highlight was the incredible broth, full of rich flavors. Chicken slices were moist & delicious. Though I didn't like the caramelized onion in the soup. Flavor was good but the texture wasn't enjoyable. Soy eggs could also be more marinated & flavorful.
Overall a very satisfying meal! The kind & welcoming service also made the experience even better. Looking forward to trying their other ramen options.
Very disapointed. Karaage chicken was dry & a but cold. Broth didn't have enough flavord. The pork was dry. The noodles were good.
Went via Metro to this new upscale mall & food court. Food were all prepared individually & to a higher standard than typical mall food courts. Enjoyed the Kara bowl. Just the right amount of spice & absolutely delicious.
We ordered the shoyu ramen today with 2 other appetizer, the chicken in the ramen taste old & the cook said its was cook 3 days ago it should still be fresh! 🙄 I was on my way to a movie with my son so didn't want to waste the time to complain. they used to be good but not today!

I ordered the tonkotsu ramen & dumplings. The taste was perfect & the ambiance was spot on. I will definitely come back here whenever I crave ramen.
The kara ramen & gyoza might genuinely be the best food I've had in my life.
Located inside the food court in the royal mount. The truffle mazemen & kara are good, but the chashu is a bit dry.
Very honest review. The tonkatso ramen is just OK. Wouldn't order again. Very very plain, noodles are meh, broth is just ok but also nothing to remember. Pork is dry. Just a very meh experience..I just came back from Japan & was excited to try the ramen. 2/5 is being generous.
Really good broth! We tried the sapporo black ramen with takoyaki, & (unpictured) the tonkotsu ramen. Both are very flavorful. The shop is located in a good-looking food court at Royalmount, we will visit again!
